I too compliment VPOTUS Pence that he did the right thing. Trump was an A-hole prior to getting elected and left the Presidency a bigger A-hole. It's really sad. I did vote for Trump, but I am never party loyal. I vote for whoever I think it going to do the best job. When the November 2020 election didn't go Trump's way, I was shocked that a leader of the FREE WORLD acted as he did. No one should do those things. I feel that VP Pence felt that he needed to support his president’s whirlwind decisions and statements as long as they weren’t illegal and went against him if it was. His integrity forced him to be loyal since he’s 2nd in command. There needed to be an adult in the house when the president was an absentee president and often sulking when he doesn’t get what he wants. It must have been such a burden doing that for 4 years.

There is nothing to feel bad for because that was not his point of view. Pence became the 2nd in command, shared some values with the former president, and was able to forward his own agenda. For this particular event though, I do respect his love for tradition. He was never going to not be there.

Absolutely agree! If people were paying attention Pence had begun early on before his last absurd act of insurrection to pull away from him gradually. He was not standing behind him at many news conferences when his began to talk crazy about pandemic. He had to endure him just as we had to but finding out how evil he had ordered the terrorists to come for him had to be it & as spineless as others believe he is he had to man up not just for political reasons but his family was watching as well. Not that I don't agree with your statement, I agree totally. It's just the fact that Pence is civil and behaves more presidential than Trump makes me glad Trump was president then and not him. Because whenever Pence makes speeches it's subtle and not viral compared to how everybody goes rock-and-roll over Trump's speeches. Pence's behavior is so low profile and low-key that if he was president, he'd get away with majority of the policies and actions Trump has because he's just quiet.

Pence doesn't have enough charisma to run for President. He's a good man with integrity but that's not enough. I guess when you hear "Hang Mike Pence" ringing in your ears it puts things in perspective. I guess when your boss doesn't even check to see if you survived an attempted coup you become centered a bit. He was a spineless jellyfish who fawned over and praised the Dear Leader until Trump sold him up the river. If Trump had won, he would still be singing his praises. I don't have any medals for him.

I noticed that as well. He was a gentleman, helped Karen into the vehicle, went around and got in the other side. On arrival, Trump got in first, and shut the door in Melania's face. She had to walk around and get in the other door herself. Even walking into the White House the first day, Trump went first, leaving Melania behind to be escorted in by the Obamas.

This was like a fvc**n* movie. In the end Pence was actually kind of like a hero. His actions were I guess a bit heroic. Human conscience is heroic. I hated Pence. He's that bad guy in the movie who did the right thing and rides off into the sunset at the end of the movie.
