In 'The Nine Lives of Dimitri', Dutch house pioneer DJ Dimitri talks about the peaks and troughs of DJ life, the life lessons he has drawn from it and the enthusiasm with which he is working on his new album.
In 2014 we followed DJ Dimitri for a few months. He spoke very openly and honestly about his life. We went to shows and viewed photo books at his mother's house. He showed us the most important places in his life: where the legendary club RoXY used to be, the farm where he worked with people with autism, the center in which he rehabilitated for months after losing his lower leg. We were even allowed to swim with him for the first time after the amputation.
