He actually reminds me a lot of john elway. Big strong makes good choices and loves to win. If he has john's attitude and does not back down spends a little time in the weight room, puts on 10 lbs. To absorb bigger hits, He could become the minnesota messiah.

I like that "take what they give you" mentality, where Coach mentions not every play will be an 80 yard TD. Kirk Cousins is really good but did have a tendency to force it downfield rather than take the gimme. Very, VERY intrigued by a guy who is more conservative and only pushes it when it's required. As a lifelong Patriots fan Bill Belichick is the worst offensive draft decision maker in pro football. Unparalleled in selecting defensive draft picks but a horrendous judge of offensive player potential I would never trust his judgement of offensive players.

Watched McCarthy and there's something about him he just has it. NFL won't be to big for him he should have a really good career . He just makes plays that during the game put his team in a position to win. He doesn't get rattled always keeps his mind calm during the game Minnesota I think you have a legitimate franchise QB now who's young things just got a whole lot better for the Vikings . NFC North is going to be really tough on all the franchises whoever ends up winning it is going to be a Superbowl contender. The runner up in the North could be capable of winning a Superbowl. This coming season is going to rock, Lions, Vikings, Packers and Bears oh my!

It's hard to believe that Bill is having a hard time finding an HC job, or at least that's the speculation. The guy is the most decorated HC in NFL history, for crying out loud. He seems to really like & appreciate O'Connell as a coach. Maybe the Vikings could find a good spot for him. He'd be a welcomed addition to the coaching staff, in my eyes. I like seeing a different side of Bill. Seems completely different than the guy on the sideline and in the pressers.

If Darnold is playing somewhat to very well I say leave him in for the season. JMac is young and will get his time. Let him develop and grow hungry is my opinion!
