FUTURE OF SWIFT: A SNEAK PEEK AT ASYNC / AWAIT

The addition of the async/await pattern to Swift will probably be one of the major evolutions of the language this year.
While the feature is still in development, its implementation is advanced enough that we can already start experimenting with it if we install the latest development snapshot of Swift and its toolchain.
In this talk I want to walk you through the basic use case of async/await, explain how it makes asynchronous code easier to manage and discuss this approach when compared to using Combine or RxSwift.
I will also talk a little bit about more advanced use cases, like the concept of "actor class".
