This is still just the model what introduced on WWDC for developers to let them make their app ready.. you just allowed to buy the remain headsets what are not requested by the developers in that 6 months period why you had no chance to get one... and developers can work without social features, they doesn't need that to prepare their own apps.. so not the most important thing, when you buy a model what introduced for you (so not on the developer conference, on the iPhone event or on a Mac event..) you can complain about that, until that you are just someone who is more interested in this like those who have patience to buy the model what made for the public (so not a limited in number, like you never heard that we will sell 10million iPhone, so if you want one, buy it in time..)

People have short memories. Apple has sold already roughly half as many Vision Pros as it sold iPhones in the first year. The first iPhone had no 3rd party apps at all and no App Store, no copy/paste, no 3G, no iMessage or MMS support for picture messaging, no FaceTime, no front facing camera, an at the time outdated 2MP main camera without a flashlight, no maps turn by turn navigation, no Home Screen wallpapers (just a black screen), no Siri, no accessibility features, no video recording, no stereo Bluetooth, had to connect to PC/Mac and use iTunes to activate phone and for any software updates, no landscape keyboard, no Notification Centre, no multitasking or app switcher, no downloading files and no file manager to store any files, and many more missing features.

@@harrykatsarosthe difference is there weren’t other smartphones available with all those features when iPhone launched. They were blazing a trail and making it up as they went. There are plenty of VR systems that are far superior already on the market. For most people a $500 Quest is far more useful than this $3500 package. It’s a different thing.

This is ARChat with people who look like themselves. VRChat is a different beast. Also, AVP can work in VRC by going into Safari settings and enabling one toggle in the Advanced tab.

I like Meta Quest but their weak softwares library for 5 years is gonna be easily overtaken by Vision Pro despite it having an initial larger price target

@@toututu2993 doesn’t seem like that’s happening too quickly. Vision Pro has little to no actual VR software available and likely won’t for years.
