A new day of sailing begins, the wind on our side, and the sea speaks of recent battles. The air feels fresh - Hypocrisy, greed, envy - hearts of the old world finally disclose their deluded truth. Old leaders are losing ground, their lies are getting worse, and darkness creeps in. Each sunny day hides a coming storm, nature testing our strength for the last battle.
We've become pirates as their counterparts, free-spirited and true at heart. Navigating storms that try to make us doubt, we see the light in the darkness. The old truth is fading, making room for a new story. Our destiny is in our hands, in our hearts, in every step we take. Saw VoA on tour recently, blown away! I would go see them again in an instant! Very entertaining, kept the crowd going. Performance was perfect. Everyone was spot on, excellent musicianship. Next time on tour, you need to be the headliner, I want more!

I had the honor of seeing the very first live performance of this song (and even an acoustic performance of it before the show). Bonus: It was the same day as the solar eclipse, I showed up early to watch the eclipse and could hear them rehearsing this song acoustically WHILE watching the eclipse. I'll be buying the new album, and I recommend anyone to see this band live if you have the chance. I've seen them 3 times so far and I'm blown away by how good they are every time.

I could do without yet more pirate-themed metal, but Clementine is a hell of a singer, the guitar solo rips, and their producer/songwriter always comes up with fun sing-along Broadway-meets-power metal tunes.

This is #3. Pirates (2022), A Pirate's Symphony (2023), Pirates II - Armada (2024). That's a helluva release schedule for any band nowadays.

Ahoy! What an Adventurous song & video! ⚓️ The lyrics are pretty solid. The instrumentals are amazing, and I got to appreciate the vocals (including Choir)! Armada is a good choice for song title! This is definitely a brand new chapter! For music video, very good! The casts in the video put up a nice performance, including Visions Of Atlantis! yes yes yes yes, I was finally looking forward to the return of VOA.PIRATES has undoubtedly indelibly marked the evolution of the sound of the discography, bringing Pirates to a higher level, and rediscovering the musical balance so sought after over the years, finally evolved, it is well structured. ARMADA hits you right in the face, like a pirate cutlass, a powerful and energetic song that is damn symphonic to make you shiver. I hoped they would continue on this path, VOA's music, with pirate themes, as they do, is something extraordinary. Credit where credit is due, beautiful song, great comeback and I can't wait for the album to come out which is sure to be amazing. Welcome back pirates, continue and make us dream VOA.🤟🔱🏴☠

AND additionally they have Michele ... together this sounds so beautifull dirtish - not to mention the rest of the band who's in great playing mood. A second "pirates"-album? Pirates was my number one album of 2022, and in a lot of ways it was a return to music for me. It blew me away and got me fully into this type of music, even though I've liked it for almost 20 years.

What I really like about this one is, that it just feels like "yes, this is Visions of Atlantis". It just feels like the continuation of the "Pirates" album, they have found their sound. I am sure "Pirates II - Armada" will be a great album again. See you guys live!

Every story has a background =] Identity also comes with a finally stable line up. Just think that in respect of what done before 2018, we don’t even play songs from that part of the history of VoA live. We consider ourselves reborn in 2018, when the current (me aside) line up was established

VOA are such musical workhorses! They just keep improving release after release with this current iteration. It’s been very exciting to follow them! If this continues? I predict they’ll be a leading force in the new generation of symphonic metal bands.

"Pirates" was my first VoA's album and it was love at first heard. My favourite song from it is "I will be gone" (for me it's a masterpiece). Now we have a new song and.... I love it too :) Can't wait for new album. I'm sure it will be epic like the last one. I want to see you live in Poland but it's still a dream. I cannot travel alone and no one likes music like this (from my family and friends) so it will end like always. Thank you for your music. My bad days are better with songs like "Armada". Glad to see some "I Will Be Gone" love! I love also Clocks and Darkness Inside, but I think IWBG is my number one in that album. It sounds so incredible and I can't even describe why. I hope you'll have a chance to see them live! I never go to concerts but I decided to brave it and went to theirs (because they played super close, I just took a tram) and it was a-ma-zing!

Me too. It's mainly been Nightwish for me for almost 20 years but VOA have rivaled them as the top band in the genre.

@@James-if3kc how controversial was Human Nature album, still it is tenfold better than anything delivered nowadays. Their early stuff was a good addition to NW music indeed, but not these so so songs they stamp on and on
