Wait no you got it wrong, it's not a OnePiece reference at all. It's a Maguro Taniguchi reference (Vocalist of this very song, member of Kana-Boon, same band of Naruto Shiruetto OP). He is dressed up as him with a wig of his fluffy hair and distinctive red jacket.

I feel like the OP only being changed to the current one as the crew has finally been fully assembled makes a lot of sense. Before all 4 of our MCs got together the OP would have felt off and the personalities shown in the OP might have ruined the expectations for the character in the actual show, but because they waited until everyone was introduced and their journey together has truelly gegone, it feels so much better watching them goof around in the OP.

This anime could've been one of the biggest this season if it wasn't for the release schedule which puts it under many people's radar or drop-list. In a few years, this anime will be buried under everything else that has been released and will probably be a "hidden gem" anime unfortunately.

@@alchemistofsteel8099season one isn’t over. It’s on a indefinite hiatus. Scheduling issues and being a brand new production company have led to some problems. A few episodes release dates were pushed back a week so now they ran out of time during their expected tv time slot for the summer season as the fall season is now starting.

So that's why I have been left they are possibly on hiatus

Zombieland Saga is also a fun anime you might want to check out. It's a mash up of idol and zombie anime with a lot of comedy and heart. Sounds weird, and it is, but personally I liked it.
