Something I noticed is that the POV character changes - it's most obvious when they exit the nether, the one who made the portal goes through first, and _he's_ the POV character afterwards, because he also comes out of the portal first. Meaning they're both maniacs with similar powers, rather than one maniac and their tag-along

I like how the POV character isn't even confused anymore, as in no "WHAT", "HOW", "BRUH" or anything. He's just rolling with whatever his buddy and these wacky mods throw at him.

It took me a solid couple videos before I realized The reason your videos feel like "classic" (~1.9 era) minecraft Is because it for the most part IS. There's the old nether, old villages, a lower render distance, and even the old lighting. Honestly some great attention to detail.

Do you guys actually code up mods to make these, or is it all done with very convincing animations and post-editing, or a mix of both? I could see some of it being modded in, but some of it seems a bit too off to me.

i dont think it is even possible even with a TAS to make a portal that fast because the server-side of minecraft runs at 20 ticks per second maximum.

Another dustres thing, it Switches between Minecraft villages, the sand leaves and village are pre 1.14 but there are fogs which were added until like 1.19 i think
