I'm a light sleeper so I can feel when my black cat creeps on me in the morning. But she's a smart girl - she looks me in the face to see whether I'm still asleep or not (as in my eyes closed), and if yes then she quietly walks away. If I'd open my eyes whilst she's at that - then she gets cute and cuddly and all that.

I had a Manx about 30 years ago, her name was Shithead. The bestest cat i was ever owned by. The only day i got to sleep in was Sunday. She was used to being fed by 6 AM. It was about 9 AM and she was tired of my lazy ass not filling her food bowl. The night before i had set a glass of water on the headboard. Have you ever had the experience of having a half glass of water hit you in the face whilst sound asleep? The cold water made me move faster than being chased by an irate husband, which i have. As i was beginning to rise from my pillow the glass hit me in the forehead. Luckily it was plastic. All i saw was an orange streak leaving the room. Leaving my pillow soaked. Naturally i turned to my loving wife who was beside me. She'd seen the whole thing and was laughing so hard i do believe she may have wet the bed herself. Needless to say she was absolutely no help. So since i was awake i took a whiz and fed Shithead. After she ate she layed on the couch with me and watched cartoons.

Well, the little girl Calico cat who owns me often will wake me up with a bath. But, most often, it's a pre sleep bath I get. At bedtime.🤪 She'll decide I'm simply not clean enough to go to sleep. Little Kairi is SURELY a love bug.🐈

When I was a teenager I had cats, one of them used to love to climb on top of my dresser then jump from there across my room and land square on my stomach to wake me when she was bored or hungry.

It was painful, cute and funny - all at the same time. I caught her in the act twice by waiting for the attack. She gave me a look that said: “You win THIS time!”
