When I ran a Convenientstore with gas pumps , we had a pizza sub shop instore with my recipes and I built the store from $250 to $400 a day to $2000 per day within 11 months and I made breakfast pizza. In NY state you have to cook the eggs and topping before you assemble the pie. I rebelled and made an edge with the crust and put raw scrambled eggs then sausage or bacon or both and added the mozzarella on top. It was like a squish rather than b'fast pizza and sold at least 4, 8 piece pies from 6 to 7 am in a small town ( 1000 population) but had a location that had a huge traffic volume on the way. Noone has ever compared to my breakfast pizza. Noone makes a b'fast pizza like mine. When I quit because the owner was a jerk the store fed and closed within 6 months. I yearn to have that breakfast pizza . My daughter told me one time, "Dad I think the days when you ran the store and we all helped ( she trained my workers on the register at 11 years old) were the best years of my life growing up.

Kids just love to be with, and/or involved with what their parents are doing. Before teenage years, anyway, and sometimes after. Almost like a natural effect so they can learn how to live from their parents! God bless you.

Found your channel a few days ago and boy oh boy I miss my small ranch I had in Utah. Only had 80+ acres, but raise beef cattle, nubian dairy goats, pigs, horses, dogs and kids (the human kind.) And I really miss my fresh meat. I raised for my parents, and sister's families. And dang, fresh pork, ham, and bacon was good! The beef was freaking awesome. Add to that an entire garden, literally, I rarely bought any food except for basic staples such as seasonings, mustard, ketchup, mayo, peppers, etc. I also raise sheep for meat and wool. Took our wool to a woolen mill and traded it for wonderful blankets. Sold the lambs for meat. I had a 12'x12' shed with tons of shelving and two huge upright freezers full of all home raised meat. All my canned vegetables too. Even grew red turkey wheat that I too took to a local mill and got usually two to three barrels of old fashioned whole wheat flour. Used to make about 12 loaves of yummy bread every week. Yes, as you know, we were busy mostly everyday of the year. I had enough food to last my family for over 2 years. I was ready for the Apocalypse, thats for sure! 😆 🤣 We usually hired a local kid to feed and water the livestock while we vacationed with family in Southern California for a few weeks over Christmas time. Yep, I really do miss my ranch! Love to watch you going about your day. And I'm proud to say in all the years we lived on that ranch, we never lost an animal to either diseases, harsh winters, or predation. And my kids grew up to appreciate hard honest work. My son is now a technician that repairs MRI's and CAT Scanners in the Denver metro area, and my daughter is a Registered Nurse working on her Masters Degree and works at local hospital in ICU. She also runs a small farm with horses and chickens and runs a small business taking people out into the Appalachian's on trail rides. I'm very proud of them, as I am certain your dad is proud of you! God bless you and our great country!🗽👍🙏

Shrimp is learning your voice and vibes...my calf I raised for the freezer was like a dog, would follow me all over the barn...showed him at 4H, and he did great..toughest part was getting him halter & lead rope trained...he loved the apples as treats...he would get them cut up and added to his Calf GrowOut feed then I would give him his bucket of Calf Milk...I always gave him some apples when we worked with the halter...he always dropped his head and the apples got his attention to keep him looking up and forward...when 24 months came, he was about 980lbs dressed out @740lbs...never had a calf like him after that...Cheers from Maine.

I adore watching Smokie run zooming! I have a cat that does the same thing.I had a dog named Smokie when I was a little girl. Moma would try to spank me and she and he would end up running circles around me...lol...good memories!!!I love your videos.They are so reminiscent of living on the farm!!...Good job!!

I encourage them to film it all. We started out with raw land that had never been inhabited. We cleared it, what is cleared, by hand. I've started gardens, in the process of getting ready for chickens...

And I love that it's from local farmers and fresh and free of antibiotics etc..Ralph did a nice job for the goats..I had to laugh about the egg by itself in the corner by the goats pen. My little Jack Russell Terrier would run around my house like that when he was a young feller. He would get to running so fast that he would jump up on my couch and run sideways on the back of it. I took him just about everywhere with me. He loved to go on rides through the local wildlife management area to see the deer. He would go crazy when he saw squirrels, dogs, and deer but he wouldn’t pay attention to anything else. I sure do miss that little feller.

I give my chicken table scraps we call it the “chuck it bucket “ they love the scraps and produce lots and we let them roam in the garden free range at least a couple times a month. Great farm ya got 🇺🇸💕

You might consider HIG grazing for your steers rather than having them on four acres . HIG (High Intensity Grazing) is grazing in a short area and moving the fence every few days as they get new grass . Check it out !

Shrimp is getting so good looking! I love how he’s letting you pet and scratch him! I love a good rare steak. The joke when I was growing up was that my dad and I walked through the kitchen and our steak was done 😊. I have a friend with a Holstein and it’s the biggest cow I’ve ever seen. I understand what you were saying about the Holstein in the beefy boys. I so enjoy your channel!

Hi y'all....Have you ever read that spiders make a web and then later take it down?...Think spiders at my house didn't get the memo. I was wondering if when you get the Beefy Boys processed will they let you keep the horns?...Was just thinking it would make a really cool hat rack etc. and would be a fun way to remember your first steers.
