But I don't think the UN or NATO yet believe that is necessary. And I'm dubious if a vote by NATO members would reach a consensus here, but just my guess. There is also a chance that a coalition independent of NATO will choose to become more directly involved in the conflict, but I'm doubtful as it would essentially invalidate the Article 5 protections of NATO if they choose to do so.
