I've never been afraid to share my brutally honest opinion when reviewing football boots. With that said, sometimes my opinion can change over time, for better or for worse. In the case of the Adidas Copa 20.1, it's a boot that I wasn't crazy about when it first dropped, but have I changed my mind? Was I wrong about them?

I have the Copas and the Puma King Platinums and I actually really like the Copas because they're more comfortable in my opinion. The soft, padded touch of the Copa and the comfort definitely justify the extra weight for me! If you can pick these up for less than 120 bucks I would definitely go for it they're absolutely worth it. (The Pumas offer a more barefoot like sensation though) Keep up the great work Josh! Always a pleasure to watch your videos:)

@Teamgeist Yeah, the Tiempo Legend 7 is a great boot too and I tried it several times, I just prefer these two for comfort reasons

This boot is really close to my heart. As someone who really likes leather feel on the ball and a responsive boot, honestly, doesn´t get much better. Also, I own the AG version, which is pretty ligth. Fantastic boot. But I guess this is really specific for my taste.

Jameson, I'm not very savvy with the mizuno boots when it comes to which is which (narrowest, widest, lightest, thinnest barefoot feel, tightest, most responsive etc.) PLEEEASE can you do a comparison of all the top tier mizuno boots? And maybe draw comparisons with Nike/adi/puma so we can get more of an idea of whether a rebula is most similar to a tiempo or a mercurial e.g.

I played with the 19.1 for like 5 months and the opening around the ankle disapointed me a bit. The anckle lockdown was worse than the 19+, the ones i was using until now. Are kinda confortable, and have a a soft leather , but the ankle area has too much space and enters too many rubber elements from an artifictial field. After some months they feel heavy on my feet. 7/10 for me

I got these not too long ago and i love them, i can tell how the burrito style tongue is definitely kind of inconvenient but for me thats only really inconvenient when putting them on, once they're on it doesnt really make a difference and i cant tell. I love the touch and the leather, id say the quality of the leather and how comfortable it feels outweighs any of the negatives personally, but that is completely subjective. I would walk around in them everywhere if i could.

I just do not like burrito tongues, always less comfortable than a regular tongue or even the one-piece enclosure. Have not tried the 19.1 or 20.1 Copa though, loved the 19+ and my 20+ Copas though

i just have this copa 20.1 while ago but my problem is the length of the boots fit my feet when the width doesn't really much. In the end, i have to put decent effort to fit my feet in. Do you guys have any useful tips for me? or i just have to use it for a couple times to get used to it?

I think the studs are a little longer than they should be for many AG surfaces, but in general I don't think they're unsafe.

They can be used on AG but as Josh said the studs are a little too long. They are not unsafe and will last (I have the puma king platinum and they have the same soleplate) but you definitely feel closer to the ground with the mg version instead

The lack of any other color to add some contrast on these might make this the brightest thing I've seen. I have the electricity Accelerators and I swear they look normal compared to the brightness here.
