Jan 6 committee day 5 Republican legislators lying to the public, face-on, as if they were the ones being cheated on and they were defending democracy when in fact it was the other way around as their lack of truthful evidence in court later showed, their supposed proofs were later debunked, and their cases thrown out because they were garbage. There must be consequences for spewing lies and not-well-proven accusations and misinformation. There must be a limit to spreading conspiracy conjectures and falsehoods, at the very least with respect to the legitimacy of elections and perhaps a few other critical aspects to democracy.
