The changes he is capable of implementing with his position in politics far outweighs any damage his jet will do while he is in power. Being carbon neutral isn't just about not producing carbon, it's about getting its use under control while using new technologies for energy besides fossil fuels. Trudeau's carbon tax has not done anything to reduce Canada's GHG emissions. In 2015 Canada was responsible for about 1.5% of world GHG emissions. Today Canada is responsible for about 2% of world GHG emissions. Where is the reduction? He talks about Lytton and a forest fire, maybe if Canada had better forest fire fighting capabilities and proactive forest fire management Lytton could have been saved?

Just curious... once this great leader collects all this carbon TAX, where does it go? I mean whom is the individual we give the TAX to, that has the power to adjust the climate? Or, what is the money being spent on, that helps to stabilize the climate?

The carbon tax goes to each province to decide how to spend it. Much is used for green energy, but it helps fight pollution now matter how it is spent. If carbon producing industries are more expensive, then consumers and businesses begin to look for green alternatives-like a taxi company switching to electric vehicles because they're cheaper to run.
