I got a chance to see this amazing production when I went to NYC to see Phantom. I really loved the energy from the whole cast and theater. I really really LOVED Alex Brightman as Beetlejuice though since I've heard his voice work on Helluva Boss. I'm going to go see it again this summer when it's going on tour where I live and can't wait :3

Ok. Alex Brightman playing the live-action musical version, and the Teen Titans GO animated version of Beetlejuice is just amazing. I love the commentary about the source material. The performance here is just perfect. Timing is spot on, the ability to work around the (well-deserved) applause, the voice is a perfect blend of Michael Keaton's dark and comedic with a musical and light flair, the little additions like the farewell to the terrified woman, or the later fake cartwheel for Say My Name, everything is Perfect. It's no wonder that he was picked to be in Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel as well. Even with just a voice, he's so expressive. Look At This from season 2 of HB works perfectly with his improv, F**k You from the following episode has so much emotion and excitement. Then there's HH and Hell Is Forever. The guitar solo is an homage to his portrayal of Dewey Finn from School of Rock, another great performance by Brightman. The vocalisations match Jack Black. This man is seriously talented!

There was one other performance I liked even more. I got to see Beetlejuice at Shea's Buffalo Theatre, & the man playing Beetlejuice was so extraordinary. He played every line, scripted or improvised, perfectly. Entire cast was flawless. I'll never forget that💜💚🖤
