Because MTG and all her abundance of ignorance said that about the solar eclipse and the earthquake in NYC. Though interesting enough, the earthquake actually originated out of New Jersey in the same town where Trump owns a golf course that is one of his major properties. Anyway, MTG is of course ignorant but she is openly supported by the brainwashed and radical right wing. So now I’m waiting for them to say that this tornado is a sign from God. I’m making this comment because I hope some people will see it and decide we are not going to reward ignorant people who are either so bring damaged that they believe this stuff or those that act like they believe this stuff because they want to fear-monger and divide, or just grift to go viral. Sorry you had to go through this. The vast majority of people in Nebraska would be willing to share their basement in this situation. When I was a kid we saw a tornado in Kansas on our way home from vacation. We pulled up to a farmhouse and the family held the door open as we ran inside. We stayed there until early morning when the threat ended. They lost their barn.
