2 роки томуWhen there is no Bigfoot activity going on, I pursue my other outdoor interests while in the Kiamichi Mountains. One of those is looking for snakes, in this case the Western Cottonmouth. This video is from Summer 2021 in the same area I frequent on my Bigfoot expeditions. Hope you enjoy it.

After we moved back home to Oregon from Texas in 1975 when our dad retired from the army, it took me years to realize I didn't have to worry about those buggers while out walking, fishing or hunting!

I imagine Oregon has less a variety of venomous snakes than Texas. Beautiful state up there.

@Bigfoot and More Right, not as many here. Rattlesnakes in Eastern and Southern Oregon. Of all the snakes, Cotton mouths were my biggest concern as they can drop off branches into the water or at your feet, they sure got my heart pumping when I surprised 1!!!!

I’d wear my snake chaps. Snakes don’t bother me if I see them first, but it’s the ones you don’t see that’ll get’cha. Stay safe out there Dave!

We pick up crawdads at night and occasionally have had to let one of those buggers crawl over me when blinded by the lantern. Talk about testing your resolve.
