Imo, a better option for a No Guard OHKO Pokemon would be Sheer Cold Articuno, since it's naturally faster than Groudon and Sheer Cold can hit Pokemon with fly/levitate/whatever else Ground moves can't hit.

Fun fact, Eternatus' catch rate is the same as Caterpie(225). So he wasted that master ball.

My LGS had "for fun" tournaments in Black/White (Pretty much all of us had AR, and thsoe who did not usually did not want to participate) Event mons, Box art Legends were banned, As were No guard and Wonder Guard. I also managed to get Huge Power Slaking, Sap Sipper Swampert, and Flash Fire Scizor Banned. (Compound eyes with Articuno Sheer cold would also have been banned until we found out that it does not work.) Later on, they unbanned no guard and instead just banned OHKO moved. Which actually did not make No Guard popular. Some people did it for high risk high rewards like Zap Cannon and Dynamic Punch. That lasted one tournament, but a scarf Porygon Z with No Guard and Zap cannon (me) and My friend's Scarfed Electavire with Dynamic punch quickly got No Guard banned again. Some people complained that they were banning too much to which the store owners called my freind and I asshats who are ruining the fun. So they implement a few new rules, unbanned a lot and actually got it working. But by this time X/Y were just around the corner. I did two more tournaments, One with A rain ream, and one with a Paraflinch team. Rain did not do well but paraflinch did. (Drizzle was banned (As was every other weather) so i had to set up with a rain dance mon) We also had NO ABILITY tournaments, So strategy came down to moves and items. (They just outright banned all legendaries) And New Type Tournemnst, they were not popular. As you did not know how to play around pokemon you had no clue what the typing was. However, they did change a rule that the primary type could not be changed. So I had a Ghost/Normal Gengar. Immune to Normal, Fighting, Ghost, and Ground. Weak to ONLY Dark. (Which was surprisingly rare) He wasn't unbeatable but Since I would set up with a Toxic spike layer Gengar's Hex was nasty. There were some people running around with Ghost/Dark Gengars not too hard to handle, My Gengar was more frightening. (For good reason, Dark was once again, NOT POPULAR) so people trying to hit me with ghost attacks (Stab Super effective) were not hitting me due to being normal. I also Ran a Poison/Dark Weezing, A Water/Gorund Azumaril (Huge power was an asset) A ground/Steel rhyperior, and a bunch more. But Gengar was the only one to return every time. (And still people would grab onto Ghost/Dark gengars thinking that was my boi, not understanding why he was so good. Ine guy that scared me was running a Bug/Steel shuckle. defeensive wall. Weak to only fire. He luckily got eliminated before i had to battle him. And the weak after I stocked up some fire and ran that shcuckle myself. it was craop, Did end up running a Normal/Ghost Blissey though. So I had two on my team. Some guys had Gym teams though (A gym team were mono type teams. Like someone running all water types. Well these guys were running all water/Dragon or Water/Steel or Steel/Dragon. One guy did a full Bug/Ice team, which did surpsiingly well despite being teh worset combination in teh game. A freind of mine was just doing a combination that did not exist yet. Like Ghost/Normal, but he had done it with Stoutland. Scrappy. (He was also the only person who knew my gengar was Ghost/Normal) Poison/Steel, Electric Fire (Rotom existed, but ignored) Bug/Dark, Fighting/Electric. He was out round 2, which really saddened me as he had a very unique team, but got walled by a Gym team. (Steel dragon) I went against a Water/Fire gym team. It was a fun match, clutch right to the end. But sometime you slip up forgetting that Swampert is not allowed to be Water/Ground becasue he secondary typing must be changed. There were slao a surprising amount of psychic/darks running around. And dark ghosts were propementic overall, unless you had a scrappy fighting type. which a lot of people ended up running the second time around. Made my Gengar a lot worse, But he was still awesome.

I found out a mon I just think of, it's a hacked Mon and it's kinda broken, Gholdengo Ability: Flash Fire Item: Balloon Immune to: Fire, Fighting, Ground (unless the opponent makes contact) Sadly don't have anything to counter electric, ghost, and fairy (This only works on pokemon showdown)

Lowkey gigas would break everything if you get good healing abilities or just get speed boost and let it run through people (or unaware)

Skipping mew was the dumbest thing ever. You could have given it moody and then stalled a bunch with substitute, recover, protect etc literally any move then used baton pass to anything with huge power then its game over.
