@13:00 they realised you cant have the steering wheel lights/ gauge and the p3 gauge on at the same time (they are both OBD2 Port Connections)... p3 gauge is useless when you have the steering wheel that says the same stuff...

I really like how this car is coming together. So far you have added some nice changes without making it look overboard or tunerish. The steering wheel and updated iDrive were must have for the age of the car. That headlines is a nice custom touch as well.

So easy to go overboard with the interior mods on M3s. The P3 vent gauge is awesome, but the steering wheel gauges, starlights and colored buttons are pretty played out. But to each their own if these are your favs.

I track cars and I think the steering wheel is useful if you don’t have a super loud exhaust when tracking a car. To hear shift points over other nearby loud cars.

The steering wheel is a much more complex install than that! You gotta connect the electrics and chase cables etc.

Really curious what color the wrap will be. With those rims, black would have been the best choice IMO but I think they said they are going to wrap it. White would look clean and I think maybe a dark red or gray would also be pretty sick.

Wait so the steering wheel uses OBD2 to plug in and the digital vent uses the same OBD2 to plug in, does that mean when the wheels is on the vent is off and vice versa???

It look like the steering wheel need to be plug in the OBD port and the P3 gauge need to be plug in the OBD. How you guys plug both at the same time so both item got info from the car ??????

Additional things I would mod are: Downpipe Air Intake Tune Crank Hub Upgrade MUST HAVE (look up s55 crank hub issue) Top-Mount Intercooler upgrade is also recommended which is another weak point. Stock one will start to crack/leak with higher mileage cars especially when more power is added. Cosmetic mods: GTS style hood Updated Icon headlights
