My step-nephew completed boot camp with a broken femur, and I was so proud of him for doing that. Once he complete boot camp they gave him so many days to get it taken care of and return or he would have to go through boot camp again. He decided not to go back and somehow managed to get his veterans card. I know boot camp isn’t easy but he uses that card to get out of tickets, get meal discounts, etc and I lost so much respect for him after that. He comes from a family of self serving takers, not giving at all. Such a shame.
