Had a little laugh at your 'real hot' and 87F. It's Autumn here in south east Queensland Australia, and 85-90F is our average maximum at the moment....with 65-85% humidity. It's all relative.

I read also that a spray made with lavender essential oil and water is great to get rid of an infestation of ants in potted plants that can happen sometimes 👍

Sorry I missed the live was at the launder mat. A pull wagon could be a help. Your building and Getty your home roofing takes a lot of time. Before you know it will be rainy season and wet cold weather. I’m ready for cold weather it’s hot here already, have a few cloudy weather but still hot.

But….the country is NOT shut down and closed for 1 1/2 years like back in 2020… I’ll do it, Gary, so you don’t have to. I’d rather be ABLE to walk into a store and get at least 1 thing than none at all. Don’t get me started on it either, ‘cuz I’ll go back to what started it along with the one who signed off on $600 extra/week for unemployment. That shocked the H out of me, then nobody wanted to go back to work cuz they made more on unemployment that “he” started. Didn’t have to sign off on that bill but did, screwed us all with a country shut down and big payout on unemployment. Go figure.

Land taxes have gone up every year even when you claim homestead. My home value keep going up so my city, county, school taxes keep going up so my taxes keep going up and I get a tax break for being over 65 . Vicious cycle. Utilities are outrageous charges for living in the city, road charges, water consumption base rate for 1 person $90 monthly, water runoff etc . Water rate is based on usage even if I use less it’s $90 . Person. So I moved to senior living apartment pay only rent and electricity. Worry less about water and repairs and play less then home ownership.

Brookdale in Monroe, NC, went from $5,550/month to over $6,000/month (memory assisted living). That amounted to $645,000 for 10 years if she’d lived that long. She was 90 at that time she passed having lived in Brookdale for only 1 1/2 years. We’re okay but do not know where the $645,000 would’ve come from. State facilities are not that great either and about the same.

My twin uncles (Dad's little bros) didn't believe in Vietnam. With their self employment they figured out from the percentages given - what went to the war and just didn't claim that much of their income. Aunt participated in the sit down on the SF courthouse steps with Joan Baez and her mother. The older women were treated nicer for their time in jail.

Have you tried coconut oil. Yet?add peppermint oil and tea tree oil. Will deter bugs specially flies. But coconut won't burn
