It's not about if he can still run, catch the ball and memorize a playbook, obviously he can still do that, it's a matter if he could take dozens of hits per week, which many guys equate to getting in a 20 mph car crash, and recover in time to play, which would be an amazing feat if he could do that at 46, especially for a WR. That's the thing most people don't think about when talking about these old guys coming back because they see them running routes and making catches on an open field. By the way, I played football for several years, and got one confirmed concussion playing, so I know what it's like to take a hit.
