Black smokes rise into the sky every few kilometers from Siversk to Toretsk. Behind them, if you climb to higher ground, you can determine the front line here in Donbas - in its "hottest" section. There are no operational pauses here, nor at least a few hours of silence or rest for the Ukrainian military. It is on this section of the front in several directions that the Russian Army is advancing. And here, Russians have some success. The Russian Army's tasks for the nearest future are to capture Siversk and Bakhmut. This front section is held by the 72nd Kyiv Brigade of Black Zaporozhians and other units. Since April, the former head of the Ukrainian National Police has been serving in the brigade - in the past, the colonel general of the police. Now - senior sergeant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Serhii Kniaziev. hromadske meets Kniaziev in Bakhmut while the city is being leveled bit by bit by Russian troops.
