I got that pool this summer, and my pupper totally treated it as a huge water bowl. And YES I did get in it. Just big enough for a pool float if you prefer feeling like you are floating that sitting on the ground. Enjoy!

I don’t know if they are made in England or allowed, but you might look into blue flame propane heater that doesn’t need venting and can be mounted on the wall. For small spaces.

Jamie, much as I love the idea of a wood burner, do a little research on how it can affect air quality inside your home. It may be price prohibitive anyway judging by your comments but definitely think about impact, especially important if either you or Sherp are a tiny bit asthmatic.

Jamie, over here in the US tiny homes use pellet stoves as heaters. They put out enough heat to warm up the whole place. It may be something to look up and see if it might be an option.

I have an electric log effect log burner, and it is really good! I too have a small sitting room, and it heats it up really well, plus you have the visual of flames, which make you feel cosey. You do not hat to buy logs, and you do not have to clean it out, so it is a win win situation. Mine looks very realistic, so I am sooo happy with it. xxx

Thar cold pod is so cool. You could put it next to where you usually like to sit and view your garden so you have your chill spot in or out of the water. You could have a chair in by the pool so that you could sit and put your feet in the water.

Hi Jamie! The Cold Pod is actually for cold plunge, and meant to have ice added, i think the water is supposed to be below 70 degrees F, or lower as you get more used to it. It's supposed to have lots of health benefits, etc. Enjoy!

I had a dog use her pool like Sherpa as a giant water bowl. The neighbors dog was like a bucking bronco in hers. Dogs you've got to love them. They are all different.

Over here when it becomes hot, we give our fur children cold watermelon. It has all the electrolytes for them to prevent pets and humans from getting water on the brain when drinking lots of water. The only thing is don't give it to them 4 or 5 hours before bedtime, as you'll find Niagra Falls occurs about an hour to an hour and a half after eating it. Then two hours after that, and so on and so forth! Cats and dogs just love it, as well as horses etc. Where is Sharpies orange ball? Maybe he'd like that in the pool?

If your room has been cool in the very warm weather. It is quite likely it will also retain heat in the cooler months and feel quite warm

Can you do an electric fireplace? I love mine...and it does put out heat We had a gas fire place but gas went up so we converted it.

I my Kimmie has one of those pools. I use it to bathe her it's a lot better than messing up the bathroom . Plus, she enjoys the play time. As they🎉 say, killing two birds with one stone.

Hi Jamie! Hi Sherpa! I lost it when he stuck his nose on the treat and then walked away! I think the neighbors heard me laughing! I never fancied tripe, either. But one day I was at my friend Aurora's house and she was an amazing cook. She's from Mexico and make proper Mexican food, not just Tex-Mex. She made tripe soup and I refused it. She made me try it. It was stunningly delicious! I took some home for the guys; but really didn't want to. I wanted to hog it all! ooooooo, Linda! I love Highland Cows! I wish I could have one. The closest I have come are two small coasters which I turned into fridge magnets. The pool and the cold plunge are lovely! Lee Asher of The Asher House sanctuary (which everyone should follow) has a sauna and a cold plunge. If you don't have one; then I suggest turning your water on very cold after a hot shower. If you want to install a wood stove in the house; instead of looking for residential ones, consider looking into camping stoves or even look into old ones floating around in second hand shops. Our house heats and cools strangely, where one room in the house gets literally no heating or air con. We purchased a camping wood stove off of craigslist that is designed to use in tents of all things. Installed a permanent vent and the little 1 foot wide, 2 feet deep and 10 inch tall stove has legs that are only about 6 inches tall; but we made custom stand where the feet sit in about 6 inches of sand to bring the height up to 2 feet. It does a great job of heats the 200 sq foot room.
