They're comfortable and pretty cool features, but damn sure not worth what they cost by any metric. Whether you compare them to wired hifi headphones that will last your whole life, or to other comparable Bluetooth headsets that will also die eventually but cost half of those.

You're completely right though, they're overpriced and nothing compared to audiophile headphones but I love them like a true apple cuck nonetheless. Thankfully I'm in the position where $500 is pretty disposable rn (whether or not that lasts is yet to be seen!)
