First day of action here in Imola for the WEC 6 hours, which comes back to the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari for the first time since 2011
This video shows you my personal highlights of the day, with the best clips I recorded from the first two practice sessions
You can admire those beautiful prototypes and GTs, with some of them having really a mega sound
Also you will find an incident between the Isotta Fraschini and the Peugeot 9X8 n° 94

I like those classic circuits with a lot of nature and random traditionnal houses sitting next to the track, just like Spa or Le Mans

I can't work out why after all the F1 feedback about noise the HyperCars sound so dull (apart from the Caddie). Such a missed opportunity

Some do sound disappointing, but still better than what f1 has the past decade..

Mostly because of the turbos and some various engine setups. The caddy has no turbos that's why it sounds loud. If I was the FIA i would obligate to have N/A engines lol

Quite a few cars are running with muffled exhausts I’ve noticed, imola must have strict noise regulations I’m guessing

The 911 is the main one. It’s homologated like that for this year sadly, which means it’s gonna be this quiet everywhere in both ELMS and WEC. The rest sound like they are running normal mufflers

@@zeredwhirlpool7455 yes but that’s a different series not run by ACO. They have different homologation and bop parameters. I prefer IMSA anyways.

@@Pier1668 corvette was not quiet. It’s pretty loud. It’s the new Z06 gt3 not the old gte. None of the new gt3s will be as loud as the old RSR/C8/Ford Gt because they all run mandatory mufflers
