Michael Che clearly has a new ally in his war to cancel Colin Jost.

This was really funny. She plays crazy very well. This and the robot. They are really letting the new cast members stretch their legs and I’m glad, so far they are all great.

What’s really strange is that when I thought about it after she said it, I never realized that the show mostly airs on Sunday morning! Yes, the first half hour is on Saturday night but the bulk of the show does actually air on Sunday morning. Never thought of that before until she brought it up. LOL

She has hit the ground running. I think she will do really well on the show. This and the "we'll take it out and play around with it" were both great. Can't wait to see more. Her timing on this bit was impeccable

Sarah Sherman is amazing. She's been killing it right out of the gate.

This was her audition for taking over Update and she fucking nailed it.

She is so funny, she’s got such a bright future

Wonderful throughout, brilliant first update spot, but starting at 2:30... *chef's kiss* You can see her feeling the crowd's energy, knowing that she's got them, got Che, got us all, in the palm of her hand. And then she brings it home with a flourish at 2:35, with her flawlessly executed, expertly timed delivery. Love seeing that moment for the new kids, when it happens. Few compare to Kate McKinnon absolutely killing it as Ann Romney in her rookie season. I'll never forget that moment, as it was the night I fell in love with Kate. Excited to see what Sarah will continue to bring to the show for the rest of the season, and hopefully well beyond.

I’m commenting a second time having watched this again. I’ve been thinking for a while that the quality of SNL has been sinking fairly dramatically, but man, this was so funny and entertaining. What brilliant chaotic energy. That’s what made SNL so good - the CHAOS of live comedy. The new cast members are eclipsing the seasoned veterans. Loving the energy and the humour. More more more!!!
