Three French military assessments had highlighted Ukraine’s dire situation in the conflict, according to the French magazine Marianne. The French military reports on the Russia-Ukraine war said Kyiv had wrecked its Western-trained force in the failed 2023 offensive. The reports said Kyiv had run out of men to mobilise, and its recent loss in Avdiivka shows it can’t even hold the line against Russia.

It's only going to be more easier for Russia from now on. Russian has transformed it's economy to war-mode, arms industry is ramping up, troops are rotated for rejuvenation while Ukraine is out of soldiers & ammo and is resorting to more riskier and futile attacks on Russian territories out of desperation. If the scenario continues, Russia might take a bigger chunk of Ukraine which even Putin might not have thought of.

Funny thing is that we already know what happens in the next main battle. Step 1) Ukraine says it’s a fundamental city, strategically important. Step 2) They say they will defend it to the last Ukrainian. Step 3) Russia encircles it and opens a new franchise of the meat grinder. Step 4) When the meat grinder is working, Ukraine sends everything they have to be destroyed by it. Step 5) When the situation is critical, Zelenskyy sends even more bodies to the meat grinder. Step 6) When they lose the battle, they say they will retreat to preserve the lives of the soldiers. Step 7) Ukraine says that the city is irrelevant and was never strategically important. Step 8) New city, new battle, repeat steps 1-7.

Long wars are always a battle of attrition. And Russia’s population is 4 times larger than Ukraine’s. Both countries field large armies, but Russia can replace its heavy losses in men and material, while Ukraine is really struggling for manpower and is completely dependent on US supplies.

Just as Putin said that western leaders should reconsider sending troops to Ukraine to take different roles because once they get involved none of them would go back alive. Why send your men to go and die in someone's war? it takes years of experience to gather the battlefield experience that the Russians have gotten. No amount of military drills can replace or catch up with the Russians. God bless America!

Though USA was a signatory to the Budapest Memorandum, it is not a reliable defender of that paper because it (its current leadership - both Democrat & Republican) does not know how to engage with Russia. Whereas, Britain & France has a long history of military power and experience in wars. Germany should be a strong military power, but they have become jelly beans after the two world wars.
