George came into my life at 18. I knew all the songs & learned how to dance following George's moves, mostly the hips. My first ever concert 24th Dec 1984 Wembley, Wham - Make it Big. Still have the ticket, programme and the exclusive little plastic bag which they gave us with streamers in, etc to celebrate Christmas Eve. Miss him

Times were mighty tough for English kids at the time, high unemployment etc. George M, rather than being naive to this fact (as he was often criticised) tried hard to create uplifting, joyous music for the kids. Not just a musical pop genius, but an all round great guy!

Freedom is one of my favorite songs of WHAM!. I can sing it the hole day. But I will miss George Michael most at Christmas. Such a lost. Love him still 💓💓💓😢😢🎄

When George Michael sang Somebody To Love at the concert for Freddy Mercury, I realized at that moment that he was one of the most talented singers of all time and he truly did Freddy justice. Freddy was, is and will always be the greatest RnR frontman of all time, but George Michael was up there as well. Miss them both quite a bit, like we all do. God Save The Queen.

To my funeral I want people to hear Freedom90 that's inspired from this track,bit morbid perhaps. But life is just not the same without George, especially at Christmas time. I hope you found the peace,the freedom you searched for, for you were and are loved ♥️ you're forever missed. Thank you for the music we can enjoy for many generations to come 🙏

I had my hair like that in the 80s too. I loved the documentary on Wham! I hope Andrew Ridgeley has a windfall of record sales from it. I loved Wham so much!! I still do.
