When i was a very little child and severely neglected i was super thirsty (couldnt reach the cabinet for a cup or the sink) i opened the mini fridge and saw the ice so i tried to take a bite and my tongue got stuck (i was like 5 or 6) my parents were upstairs getting high and couldn't hear me screaming for help, i tried reaching the sink for hot water obviously was pointless considering i couldnt reach it in the first place 😅 so after a while of panicking and screaming for help i just ripped the top layer of my tongue off 😅

Had something similar happen, my dog ripped my upper lip off and I grabbed it off the couch and put it in a bag with ice and drove myself to the er. One handed btw ( was profusely bleeding ) and also had to shift gears. Got 63 stitches and it took about a month to heal. Apparently there is a huge risk that it won’t go back on or that you’ll get infection
