It was also Stampy's idea to get rid of every character that could be traced back to a real person and not an actor. That is why he had people like William Beaver and Polly Raindeer, because a beaver and raindeer would never do something like that.

The way he handled the L for Lee situation was one of the most responsible things he and squaishy couldve done It showed how much they truly cared for their audience.

“You were all so young” is such an honest thing to say, and honestly, 2015 me (when I was 11) probably needed that protection

Personally, I think Stampy’s Lovely World was at its best when Stampy’s helpers were actual people. The videos after they all left were still enjoyable, but something just felt like it was missing.

Maybe the reason why he made his helpers as only characters of the lovely world and not his real friends is to avoid anymore drama after the lion maker and l for lee situation. And the people he trusted, like squid and sqaishy, had their own stuff to do. So making consistent helpers and villains was a very smart choice for a roleplay style lets play

Although there were some not so great people that came from the Lovely World, it still was such a wonderful thing. And if weren’t for the LW series, Stamps and Squashy may not have ever met. So despite the ups and downs, a loving and stable marriage came from it, and I think that’s the best silver lining any cloud can have. Great work on this video.

I remember watching sqaishey and stampy as a kid and noticing the way they talked to each other, I thought "they have to be dating." I'm delighted to hear they got married.

It really sucks that lion maker turned out to be a horrible person as I fondly remember watching his hide and seek Minecraft videos.

Honestly, I think this goes to show how responsible and mature Stampy is, while also managing to keep that jolly and silly tone in his videos. I think that’s why I find him so beloved. His personality really does shine unlike any other Minecraft CC. Unlike the content farmers, he has an iconic personality and iconic content that never really did fall off. While his Lovely Minecraft World was and still is iconic, I don’t think I'll ever forget his Terraria playthrough. That, alone, always had me hooked whenever I watched it.

One thing I find rather lovely about this is that all the lovely helpers (bar the two who shall not be named) ended up nicely as the shots from their recent posts on social media show them with families or just having lives after UKposts and even a few stayed and made followings of their own which kind of shows how much time has pasted and how stampy has been such a long time influence on peoples lives as the people he played with at the start have all since changed some are no longer friends with him some are and just it kind of just shows that life goes on idk it feels so wholesome compared to how some other series or groups end and even those who are no longer friends with him ended nicely and no drama (bar the two who shall not be named)

I can't believe lee became like that.. It's truly sickening since lee is the only helper I can remember. Childhood destroyed, truly.

I miss the old helpers, every single one of them even if they appeared in a hundred or 2 episodes. They felt more real, more human than William Beaver or Fizzy Elephant who you could tell were paid actors. Theres always something about the in game names that stuck, "L for Lee", "BreadStix", "Liamardo39", you just know there's a actual person behind that mask. But i understand why he phased the actual helpers out, you ultimately cant control people but you can control characters

Bit of a correction for Captain Sparkelz, he wasn’t exactly the real guy. This person who joined Stampy’s videos was simply a fan of the then popular real Sparkelz, naming his account after him.

Dude this was the first time hearing about what lionmaker did. And I'm honestly shocked, I thought that stampy and him just grew apart, but to hear this. This man had cool.maps and hungergame maps almost at the ready for stampy.

the story of squaishy and stampy is so wholesome. one of his first subscribers, into making a map for him, into becoming a regular helper/collaborator, and then, getting married. it's so sweet, and i adore it

I grew up watching Stampy, so while this was a welcome blast from the past, I was genuinely sad by the end. It felt like watching your heroes reveal that they were actually terrible people, and tricked you into feeling otherwise. I know that's really not what happened ( Stampy is a king for putting up with this btw ) but it still really hurt

now knowing Lionmaker is Belgian (I am Belgian too) I feel deeply disgusted by him. I saw him join and leave the series, but always found him the weirdest helper ever, feeling that through a screen on my ps vita, is just fracked up. Sadly pedophilia is increasing A LOT in Belgium (general crime across all boards has skyrocketed since 2015). PLEASE NOTE: I am !!!NOT!!! defending ANY pedophile in the following statement, the following statement is meant as a !!warning!! to the future generation and current generation. The most common reason here in Belgium is that Belgian girls do tend to lie about their age because of their looks. In Belgium you have girls saying they're 16 because they look like it, while in reality they're just 12 or 13 year olds. I myself had a girlfriend that said she was 16, while in reality she was 14. At the time I was about to turn 17. I instantly shut down that relationship because it's a too big age difference for me. I'm glad I did break up because she mentally drained me in a bad way

Lionmaker was an adult when that event happened. Lee was ~16 years old. He still did an awful and heinous act, but I feel like we should cut him some slack in terms of harshness. I hope that he realizes that he hurt a lot of people and caused so much pain but I also hope he is doing better. I hope that everyone who has been hurt by him is also doing better. Mistakes are a lot easier to make when you’re that young.

As a child when I first started playing Minecraft when it came to the 360 back in 2012 I grew up on channels like Stampy, DanTDM, and PopularMMOs it hurts my badly to see stuff like this happen seeing some of my favorite characters growing up like Lee turn out to be this disgusting it hurts my heart but I'm glad I had a somewhat good childhood because of channels like Stampy helping me cope with certain bad events that happened in my life

L for lee was my favourite in stampys. I was always so excited to watch and I was crying when he left, and now, I’ve learned the truth.

I knew about Lee but lionmaker.. that is just disturbing. It’s sad to hear this stuff because I thought that besides Lee they just all left and went on with there own lives. Hopefully those 2 never come back.

Crazy thing, I had a school project where the topic was, "your favorite person." I didn't know who to do it on so I chose my favorite UKpostsr at the time, which was Lionmaker. I had no clue the kind of guy he was, but I did find out 2 years later. Can't believe it..

i used to watch stampy around 2014 or so at a point where i didnt even understood english because im german and started learning english i think in 2017 or 2018 in school but he still is so good in my brain that i will always remember him and i heard about that with lee but didnt know what truly happend and i didnt know that he had so many helpers because i didnt watch many episods of his lovely world but i might watch it

I remember being a massive fan of Lionmaker when I was younger for a few years, from roughly 2013-2015, until I was ~12. I had seen the drama alert one day, as it was the first thing that popped up when I searched for him on UKposts. I remember I loved watching his hide and seek videos and the quest/ expedition/ exploration series he did with one of his friends (I cannot remember their name for the life of me). I watched the drama alert, but with me being just 12 I had no clue what any of it meant and went right back to watching him. Shortly after I noticed the drama alert, I randomly stopped watching him. I have no clue why, maybe I lost interest, was too busy, idk, but I no longer watched him. Maybe a year ago I saw my subscriptions and started reminiscing. No, he wasn’t in my subscriptions because he was banned, but I saw names like DanTDM, Stampy, CptSparklz, etc, and just started remembering who I watched. Then I remembered Lion. I scrolled thru my subscriptions and he wasn’t there. So, being curious, I looked him up. Imagine my horror. This dude was actually a part my childhood. And his victim was only a few years older than me. Man how disgusted I felt. Mainly at him, but partly at myself. I know I couldn’t have known. No one could’ve. Except them. I loved Paige. Paige and the rabbit, idk why I can’t remember her name… I wanna say it’s Rosie the rabbit but… Anyways. He deserves worse than what he got. I hope he burns.

I was able to keep a stoic and strait face during this video but when he said "With the end of the lovely world series on the horizon" na that was it for me i broke to tears when that was said i myself don't know when it ended or if it even has but that line alone just made me cry.

Back when L for Lee was the main helper I was really enjoying the series. I was really upset when the character left but when I found out the truth I had a lot of respect for the way the situation was handled. Especially since 12 year old me shouldn't hear that info at the time. Stampy raised a generation and he has nothing but my gratitude for that.

Watching this i genuinely thought before that lee just went off to do his own thing when he left the lovely world. I never even knew this stuff happened and it's damn saddening and a bit scary too. I'm so shocked too- just having to process that that's what really happened. But also thank god for stampy saying he had to go cuz like he said, we were only kids back then and that he wanted to protect us from that. God, that's scary

Lionmaker actually invited me to play with him in a hunger games match. My cousin was there at the time and I got a random invite to join, soo I did. I absolutely demolished all of them and knowing what’s happened since makes it that much better.
