another idea for this type of video. Figure out what percentage each state has of Americas land mass and translate that to the world map percentage. I.e. Alaska has ~20% of Americas Land so it will take ~20% of the worlds land

Think would work very well if the U.S was in the center in the map, allowing the western states to colonize Asia and the eastern states to colonize Europe/Africa.
