I sound stupid but I love Raymond and Coach's "partnership". They'd make a decent friendship they my favourite characters. I really hope this is a sequel.

SUCH an underrated movie. Another best from Guy Ritchie.

I like how, despite the serious danger he's in, he never ceases to crack jokes. It almost makes it feels like he's not in any sort of danger because he's in control. In the end he manages to weasel his way out of this so maybe he was in control.

Those 3 definitely should have been nominated for best actors. Especially Charlie Hunnam.

I love this subtle detail in this scene. See first time Fletcher came around Raymond's house he served him authentic Wagyu to butter him up. At the second meeting at Raymond's home with Fletcher and now the Coach, Raymond has Fletcher done like a dinner, and instead of serving him wagyu, serves what appears to be a regular cheaper cut of a rib fillet. Why waste money on a lost cause. Subtle but foreshadowing of Raymond's investment in Fletcher.

So amazing to see Hugh Grant not playing...Hugh Grant. Now all I have to do is find Robert Downey Jr. not playing well you know.

1) What prevented Fletcher from wearing some other boots? 2) What prevented Fletcher from creating even more backup cases? Especially in some Cloud? 3) What prevented Fletcher from using some couriers and other hired men to hide his backup cases? And many other questions on which any experienced and high leveled journalist-investigator which Fletcher definitely is would answer easily.

Old mate Ritichie is actually selling these bespoke fireplace/grills.Looks wonderful but I'm not getting rid of the jacuzzi.

I love this movie, but I have a question about this particular scene. Fletcher calls Coach a "mysterious stranger", although during the movie , when he tells his story to Ray and to the audience, there are multiple scenes with Coach. So he should know who Coach is, right?

Everyone has been waiting on a Snatch, Rock N Rolla, & now Gentlemen sequel, I think Guy Richie could kill multiple birds with 1 stone & just bring all his movies into 1. It Writes itself, the toughest part would be reuniting the casts. Bring J & Winston from Lock Stock in as Some of Mickey's top botanists, Make Eddy Tom & Soap partners with an upscale Bar/Restaurant they bought with the money from the shotguns(that they had to retrieve with a combination of diving equipment & Magnet Fishing)where Soap's the Chef(now pretty famous) while Eddy & Tom run the high-stakes illegal card game out of the back, coasting off the street cred & word of mouth they got from Big Chris who's now filling Bacon's role(Statham much better served playing Turkish, Say Bacon left the life to move to America with a woman), alongside his son Lil Chris as their security/Muscle. Turkish & Tommy are now legit licensed MMA/Boxing promoters with their own venue(along with way more non-legit Gambling joints) with all their Diamond money, & are in business with Roman & Mickey plus have Strong ties to Coach, his hooligans. Johnny & Archie have taken over & surpassed Lennie bringing the Wild Bunch/Speeler crew in to help put the Russian in their place(giving One-Two a measure of revenge for Stella)(Bob could also be like Bertie's "Kept man" now like a declawed house cat, dying to get out & have some fun & "be dangerous" with his wild bunch buddies) Now all of them the natives have to join with Mickey/Raymond over middle-Eastern organized criminals trying to muscle in and take over. Throw in some, twists, gags, & Ritchie's amazing dialogue and everyone would be thrilled.
