Something similar like this happened to me in real life!! I was always the best on the team in basketball but not the best shooter. Were in a huddle, we’re down 2 with a few seconds left. Coach tells me to take the last shot. When we come out the huddle I turn to my teammate and say “just finish and focus! You got this let’s go!!” He turned to me with shock and said “Marc!” YOURE TAKING THE SHOT! I screamed WHAT!? (Very loudly in the gym) I got the ball and went for a lay up instead and got it. If only the other team knew that’s what they lost to. Love sports.
