why don't they just buy the fairies mod and hire the creator? they should start hiring modders to save this game

I just need a retirement home, and an a cemetary lot trait, then I'm happy.

I want preteens & things for elders! Which should have been included in growing together but 🤷🏾‍♀️

Personally, I dont really care about fairies and cars, but sure that will be great too. I think they should do updates to base game and add Spiral Staircases, maybe even ceiling decorations. Also an update to mY fiRsT pEt and add more smaller pets like birds and bunnies (they already have them in game so that cant be hard) as house pets, even reptiles or a tarantula. And 3rd, maybe an art oriented pack with more musical instruments, ballet, sculpture, maybe a tattoo studio. I think that would be cool.

i want pottery. Imagine being able to make your own vases and sculptures to decor your house!

I would love an elementary school type of pack, with activities for kids like girl/boy scouts, dance class, swimming lessons, and a spelling bee! there could be a book fair at the school once a week and kids can buy posters, pencils, and books, we could finally have a playground in build/buy, it would be cool if the children developed a childhood crush on a classmate, and maybe get a special mood let if they start dating as teens or get married as adults? There could also be a pre school added of course, it could be on a separate lot or connected to the elementary school, maybe toddlers/kids can have more aspirations, toddler game play idk, but the world could add lots like a ice skating rink to learn ice skating/hockey, or a dance studio, a day care, stuff like that

I would ratehr get an update for the base game rather than getting a new expantion pack. I prefer to get new careers, new aspirations, new hobbies ,new activities for teens and kids, even more unpredictable drama events like getting fired from a job, get sick and die, theft, cheating, fighting etc... and more sims 2 gameplay.

I'm surprised they haven't done a superheroes and supervillains expansion pack yet. Finding a mentor, developing your powers, building a lair, maintaining a secret identity, going on missions- all within a brand new city.The possibilities are almost endless.

I want a pack like ts2 'free time' with hobbies, sports etc (I think it adds to their personality. Honestly aNY packs with gameplay/personality would be great.

Multipurpose lot. Or just make it so that the lot can hire staff for different lot types. better, automatically. Like, i want to have cafe in a library, or have cafe, bar, restaurant, bakery, many different food stalls in one lot. i put a food stall on the lounge in mt komorebi. i tried to hire a staff for the food stall, but it says something like "already reached the maximum number of staff at this lot". The lounge only has one bartender. Please don't restrict like that. Just make it so we can hire different-purpose staff. That's it.

The fairy’s pack would basically be a spellcaster with wings. Hopefully they do better but….. unlikely 😂

I would love to see a sports pack. In other sims games we had, soccer goal, volleyball, skate park, they could add those, plus they could add skating as a mode of going to places. Cars and hotels must come, even if they look similar to for rent and the Cars as long you can have some activities, I agree with you on that one. I'm dying for a miami inspired world and a Dubai or Arab world and a frozen world like based on Moscow or Finland. Fairies I don't care much about, but they should make it since everyone wants it. Zombies should return and they should have a large world where a lot of creepy stuff happens, they did a good job with paranormal, but it's not scary at all. I know it's pg 1year old, but good grief. Constant noises, laughs, falling objects, doors opening and slamming by themselves. Whispers, etc...

5:25 I think a hotel would be or could be completely different from the rental system. If you think about, we are not able to plan trips in the sims 4, you travel everywhere for free, your sim lives in Oasis springs and travels let say to Mt. Komorebi for... free? and it doesn't even get a moodlet for it or even realize about the trip. It would be cool to have a system that allows you to buy the "flight tickets", book the hotel, get some kind of reward for that, like a proper holiday should be... And also, as making money is so easy in the sims 4 and you get bored after a while because you simply don't have anything to spend your money on (like clothes, that should be like the sims 2...), spending money on trips would be an interesting feature, if you think about it...

Would LOVE cars like with the sims 2. I know they've already built the game to not worry about cars, but people would still very much enjoy building garages and having cars in some form.

My two ideas, into the future style one. And into Space, the rocket is basegame, make like two playable space worlds that can be unlocked as residential worlds to live in and colonise.

This Sims team's gameplay strength lies on occult, supernatural, paranormal, sci-fi things. I want some story or quest like in Strangerville, but i'm not good at horror..

I still want a hotels pack. That and houseboats have been my biggest wishes for sims 4 since basically it launched. I think they could still implement it if it were a vacation themed expansion, kinda like world adventures. Give us a handful of smaller vacation worlds with some activities to do. Have building owning and staying at hotels be a part of the pack but not the main focus. Kinda like Satch 's cars idea. However I really don't feel like that is likely since it seems a bit too ambitious for the sims 4 team.

They should make a base game update that introduces cars as teleportation devices. And then make a pack with a huge world so that you can drive them. I honestly think that would be such a good pack, especially if they made it a big world with 10 lots

I want a music related pack. Like a musician, band or even an idol career, alongside with more instruments like drums, the flute etc

for elder sims there could be a Hospital/Clinic Admission Expansion Pack or like a Health Retreat Pack

I know this might not really work in sims 4 but I would love a boat/ship/pirate pack, kind of like in sims 3 island paradise where you get your own house boat, but for this, you could also have like proper ships and you can run your own ships, and you can also have like a pirate career where you have to find treasure with your ship, and there could be ghost ships. Maybe since it has a closed lot system unlike sims 3, they could have it so when your ship goes out to sea it like teleports into a mini world like the cave in the desert place or the pond with the cherry blossom trees in willow creek, but instead it would be just ocean, and the ship will just stay in the middle of that ocean but it will look like its moving or something. Though i know the sims team will never do this, but its just something that i would like

Since they have vampires, werewolves and ghost. They should make a Frankenstein pack. I think that would be cool.

This game needs a ton more stuff on younger age groups. Summer camp, more vacation worlds, water parks, theme parks. It’s desperately in need of more careers, more “choose your own adventure” feels. It needs way more aspects of life that are negative. There is just soooo much more it needs.

Fairies are so incredibly popular among the demographic that loves the Sims what with books like A Court of Thorns and Roses. It seems crazy that they haven't cashed in on that popularity yet. I also remember the Sims 2 cars fondly and am shocked they haven't added them? Like OMG? How hard would it really be to make it so you click your car to travel places instead of pulling out your phone and clicking the travel icon... which has a car on it anyway!? Totally agree about the Outdoor Retreat refresh! I was just playing it for the first time since 2015 and it has so much potential but is so empty and bleak. Then again, that kind of sums up TS4 as a whole. For something totally random I'd love to see, I wish we could get some more live careers. They can take some existing careers already in the game and give them engaging live versions.

A hotel pack would be hilarious for the fact i can imagine a bug were the bell hop just deletes your luggage or steals it lmao

I think cars worked in the sims 2 bcs even though it was not open world you had to leave the house with a transportation, if you dindt have a car you needed to call a taxi so it seemed realistic. in the sims 4 you just teleport without the need to actually use some type of transportation so cars for me in ts4 doesnt make sense

Also I feel like with the car, a small animation of getting in the car and having the car sound like it's starting and have it vibrate or have smoke smoke coming out of the tailpipe or something before the loading screen to the world menu would do a lot for the effect of driving the car

I'd like a decades gamepack or expansion, like 1920s, 1930s, 1940s, 1950s etc.

Also if they made sure all the base game windows in doors came in all matching white black grey light brown dark brown etc exact colors! And each window made to a tall and short version, a single and double version. Along with doors having a single and double version!!!!! Ugh that would be amazing! And going off the basement treasure style, we need more run down options. Broken fences, walls, windows, appliances…..and have option of a house flipper or real estate career!

I think they could release a sims 4 spin off, maybe medieval, or something about living in different times. Like u start the game in 1950 then u unlock technologies as your family get old. Until it arrive in 2000. It would be a fun and interesting gameplay. I dont think sims 4 can handle much more expansion packs.

The thing I want most is multi-purpose lots, especially live -in retail and more retail business types like functional pet stores and grocery stores.

I was working on a sewing project today and I was kind of thinking it would be fun if they could add the option of sewing decorations and clothes… I mean now that we have the accessories maker we can add a stylist too, why not? XD I actually would like for them to implement the music and sports in the game, with new instruments and sports to play, and maybe they could add something like the possibility to add preferences to different sports in the cas. The band option would be cool but I know it will never properly work, unfortunately. But I’m just dreaming about it anyway because I’m not going to buy anything from EA ever again until they patch up and make the game playable without mods.

It's so hard to think of something else than "i want EA to fix the game and nothing until then", but i'll try lol. I'd like something Mediterranean inspired (like, a pack, not a kit), preferably Greece-themed. Or, taking an extra step, ancient Greece and ancient Roman Empire. But I'm totally down for anything that goes with the Desert Oasis(?) kit. I'd love it if something like S3 World Adventure type dungeons came back. I'd also love some scary content. Give me that lovecraftian stuff of nightmares! No idea how to implement it, but I really feel like Sims4 is so.. happy and pure and innocent. I want some edge! Maybe with a graveyard and an explorable mausoleum and becoming a skeleton gets improved with the tier system? And to go with that, I'd like an "evil" pack, where there is robbing and tax fraud and actual consequences (also for good sims) for your actions. That way they can also use the reputation system for *something*. I'd love for my sim to outsmart cops, or to pay bills with fake money etc. I know this is never gonna happen, but I often wish the sims was more "mature" in some ways. I'd like more animals. What about a safari and animal reservation pack? Or maybe one focused on birds, or underwater life. Tbh an underwater pack sounds kinda cool. I was thinking about jungle animals and I feel like Jungle Adventures missed out on some stuff, especially with being a vacation world.

I would love them to do an African, Middle Eastern and/or a Latin American inspired world. We already have a few European and East Asian worlds. Regardless of the content it can work and bring more diversity, there’s so much to do I.e safari with a souk style market or Caribbean/Haitian inspired world where they can incorporate zombies. Alternatively a retail themed pack could be cool based on a city like Dubai with activities and a retail overhaul

I will be blunt, I will be amazed if this game is playable at all by the time the Sims 5 (if thats what it is anyway) comes out with the bugs and glitches we already have, never mind by whatever time the next game comes out.

Disasters and if you don’t have insurance you’re SOL. 😂 Dental Career, Daycare in home or building. Gym owner, dog trainer, hair dresser/makeover career, catering career…would love all of those interactive. Also preteen stage, blended families game play with split custody etc.

A royalty pack would be nice

I would love a band stuff pack with drums and the expanding on the current entertainment career and singer career that you can create/join a band especially if they make it an active career. Also feel they need to bring in preteens and there a significant gap between child and teen now with the addition of infants to the life stages

the sims development team doesn't have the courage to make the game actually fun, like it used to be. They are being very political and forgetting the core of the old games. We don't even have any spin-off titles since the Medieval one! And I belive we could have a "The Sims 4 Fairytale Game Pack" with focus on the adventure and pretty objects. Andddd a "TS4 Music Battle", where we can have active musical carrers, and compete against other artists, have a band or a solo artist... and a "the sims 4 nostalgia stuff pack", the bigger one yet "over 125 new objects" (like it used to be), full of the most iconic objects from the previous sims games, that would make us see they still care and haven't forget about the sims, sims 2 and sims 3, cuz that's what it feels like nowadays. They could even introduce some "the sims stories" as game packs for sims 4, like the batuu kinda sheet, but we could go into the future, back to the old west, we could go to a actual magic world with a real adventure to play there, ya know? with goals, story telling, that's what's missing as well

The only positive thing I would say that would come from a possible Fairy Pack would be the brand new animations that would come with it and hopefully differentiate it from the Spellcasters' animations. That way, the mod author of the Fairies vs Witches mod could utilize it for their own mod because, honestly, official fairies might or could be lackluster lol. Only thing Sims 4 is consistently (and sometimes) good at are their expressive and pretty animations.

You could combine hotels & cars. You make a world like Batu. To stay there you need to be in a hotel (wich players can change and buy). In the world there is only one hotel. (So the game stays playable) Add one free Lot. And the third section has nothing on it (like in batu). Thanks to for rent you could build multipe houses on the lot and make different sims move in.

A car pack like the movie cars -- like you could be a racecar driver in the Indy 500, it could also include country music and bands. You could repair old cars and refurbish them, and you could have a mechanic career.

Because you can’t build rentals in vacation worlds or on the beach front lots I think they will make a hotel pack that is basically the same as for rent but with the ability to build on those lots because they are so money hungry

IF they release a hotel pack, it WILL require that you already have For Rent. It will be another My First Pet all over again. A DLC for another DLC. Cars ? If you can drive them, you'll only be able to drive them within the current area. Another use would be an alternate way to travel around, similar to using the phone or hitting the «M» key to travel.

Not excited for faeries. I would like to have multi use lots. The new for rent system would be perfect to be able to do that. We need more stuff for sims to do and what happened to the pack refreshes?

I think they should do a free time/hobby pack. And if they won't add cars properly, allow them to be worked on and sold. I want personally proper zombies back. I love zombies, always fun for a post-apocalyptic play through. I enjoying the into the future pack with the ability to visit the future and change it. Hotels would be great to add on. All they have to do is update the rent pack.

Royal Fantasy expansion pack. Like the Medieval but with Fae court elements. lots of cross pack compatibility like For Rent, cottage living and the new (very lacking) castle kit. Maybe in order to become a royal, like an aspiration, you could befriend the fairies (nor gnomes) like the bunnies and foxes, and they help you pull out a sword, slay a dragon, or overthrow the current monarch... omg monarch butterflies. the crown. ya'll...

Im not a fan of zoos in real life but Zoo and Lunapark pack could be fun. New town with zoo, you can be zookeeper and take care of animals or as a zoo owner you can build your zoo or just you can be a visitter.

2 things and I die happy: a musical instrument pack. I WANT A FULL ORCHESTRA AND JAZZ BAND, YOU HEAR ME? And a a tattoo pack where you can design your own tattoos and put inked sims on the gallery to download like how you can basically find any animal in the gallery. That's all I need.

I am expecting something big right around June 4, if you consider that June 4 will be a special day in Life Sim Games. However, when the Sims 4 For |Rent came out, there was a lot of enthusiasm for it, and my expectations were very high and optimistic, and we know happened. EA needs something big that actually works, but I syspect they don't care.

I want a reptiles pack ;×; pet snakes, lizards, turtles, etc. New careers and events (reptile show? Zoo keeper?)

Something I think might be good is a Super Hero/Villain pack, and one of the main features of it could be Asymmetric Relationships (i.e. one sim likes another but the sim they like hates their guts) to go with a "secret identity" system. But knowing the Sims track record, if they did add something that complicated would be incredibly broken

I think what would really save Sims 4 would be official mod support from EA, like how ARK Ascended does. That game has its own issues, but wildcard has done a good job at incorporating modding into their system and have even hired one of the main modders as developers now. The modders are the ones who have kept Sims 4 fun and playable. I know that it wouldn’t earn extra money directly for ea, but it would help them to reconnect with their original and most loyal fan base. And ensure sales in Sims 5 if it ever comes

I wish we had more careers. I like that some packs are starting to make use of random things we’ve had forever like gemology making collecting more interesting.

I'm part of the percent that would like to have the fairies occult in the game. I don't want a modded in occult. Yes a Mod could add more game play for them, like how the Mermaid and kelpie mod went from being a modded in mermaid occult to a Mermaid expanded mod. The fairies mod would become a fairies expanded mod.
