Unisport Your Phantom GT video was an ad. All you did was drive a sports car around to give excitement to the viewer so that they would impulsively buy a pair at unisportstore.com. Makes sense since you are running a business and want sales.

@@unisport I don't agree, I think that both channels are amazing, just use different approaches in their reviews. Josh is more direct and to the point, while the bois at Unisport are a bit more on the side of playing with them and are a little more enthusiastic (don't take this wrong josh u are also amazing). At the end of the day, they both cover the same tech and give soccer players great advice. Enthusiasm for a cleat doesn't mean that its necessarily an ad. Been watching for 4 years and long time fan of both channels.

I feel like the hypervenom GT is a great concept the reason I think it’s not the greatest release because it is not unique in the fact that of it’s basically a wide mercurial with texturing obviously inspired by the predator 20

Josh I would like to know if you would be Interested in reviewing the new nike football cleat it takes many inspiration from the soccer cleats and I think it would be interesting and maybe it would be a sort of viable option instead of the normal soccer cleats since the top ends are at a lower price then the top end soccer cleats sorry if this was confusing just thought it would be a cool idea

Thanks for this video. It manifested my impression, that the GT is just a Merc sibling (might say clone) for whide footed people. Which is actually great for them. The speed vs. agility marketing is mostly nonsense. If you look at the mid food studs of the mercurials, they are angled enough to give you a similar lateral agility. Maybe control is a little better because of the upper, but in contrast to grip that's 99% up to the player.

They're fairly similar in terms of overall thickness, although the upper on the Ultra does have a thin padded layer, so if feels a little softer.

Hey Josh, Which turf boot would you recommend between the Nike Mercurial Vapor 13 Pro and the Adidas X 19.1 - taking comfort and BIG (size 12) wide feet into consideration? With limited sizes available, luckily for me, they both retail at the same price.

If you have wide feet then you shouldn't even be asking, Mercs are VERY slim. Get the X, even though if you need cleats for wide feet, the Adidas Copa or the Phantom gt are the way to go in my opinion

Unfortunately, I've always had to resort to buying boots online without trying them on as the stores here refuse to believe that people have bigger feet than a size 11.5 🙄 I'll probably go for the X keeping their current price in mind.

The Phantom GT is definitely wider than the X 19.1. They're wide enough to where I would expect them to fit most people, but I couldn't really say for sure. You'd just have to try them on to know for sure.

I tried both of these boots on (granted the academy versions) and I found the phantom GT castrated my feet despite me going a size up but the mercs fit almost perfectly in a size down ??????? is the fit largely different between academy and elite models ???

Typically there's a huge difference between Elite and Academy models. That's the case with almost any top-end model compared to the $80 version.

I've tried only mercs and they were so comfortable but if gt has the same upper without yarns it has to be more comfortable and not squeeeze your feet as much as mercs
