The saddest part of the documentary was that every person who couldn’t answer the question KNEW the answer but also knew that they aren’t allowed to answer it truthfully in service to an ideology that seeks to actively harm people.

As a mother of 3. 2 boys age 19 & 22. And a little girl age 9. I would like to think I'm educated enough on this after spending 22 years raising 3 humans. First off. Both my sons had a fascination of high heel shoes. They would spend hours trying on shoes and clip clopping about. My grandmother had a massive shoe cupboard and both the boys would turn it upside down trying on her shoes and handbags. Also when my nice came to visit, they would dress up in her princess costumes and she would wear their spiderman or power ranger costumes. Why?? Because that's what children do. It's normal. They are Inquisitive little people. And my sons fav colour was also pink! Move onto my daughter. At age 5 she took early onset of puberty. Was monitored in and out of hospital. She had body hair on her armpits and private parts. Her hair went greasy, body oder and extreme moodswings. She grew so fast she required xrays to keep an eye on her joints from growing too fast. Bloods taken ever 3 months too. Her adrenal glands kicked in and she was basically a teenager. It was heartbreaking. She had to be monitored to keep an eye on her incase to started her menstrual cycle. So the point I'm making is, my sons were normal, healthy, Inquisitive children. My daughter had hormones flooding her little body too young. When transgender people talk of knowing they were trans at age 4, 5, etc in primary school. They are lying. Their body's haven't received the hormones required to understand the difference. No estrogen or totesterone. My little girl did. Unless those trans people had early onset of puberty, how would they have known the difference? Its an impossibility. Children don't understand gender. If u asked a 7 year old male. What is a boy? Or what do boys like? They would say cars, tractors, swords, nerf guns and the colour blue etc. A 7 year old female would say, the colour pink. Dolls, nails, glitter, dress up, barbies and dolls houses. That would be it. They could not at all describe the feelings of they are not a boy or a girl or trans. Their brains aren't mature enough. They don't have enough life skills. These parents are mentally unwell. Sick. They are abusing their children. Exploiting them. What would have happened if I decided my sons might be trans due to wearing my shoes and girls dress up? I would have been responsible for destroying both their life. This is a cult. And it's going to get really bad. This is just the start. The children who have been put through this or manipulated during the crucial years of brain development are so far damaged, there is no going back.

I get really confused when people ask me to accept them for who they are when they couldn't accept themselves for who they are

My heart hurts for children without parents who protect them.

"What is a Woman" was a phenominal documentary! Matt Wash is on the rght side of History. He uses love and the truth to win!

I'm a raging progressive liberal woman and Matt won me over on this topic. And I'm not alone. i know a lot of outspoken women who agree with me but I know even more silent women who agree but won't or can't speak publicly about it for fear of losing their livelihoods or even from being threatened by unhinged, rabid trans rights activists. This documentary was fire and everyone should watch it regardless of their political views.

I devoted my entire career to gaining technical and practical knowledge and experience to further my career and be productive. Matt asks one question that a 7 year old can answer and totally and profoundly confuses medical, biological, and educational professionals. What a genius.

My favorite moment in the documentary is when the gender studies professor said the truth sounds transphobic. And _still_ the lightbulb didn’t come on.

When they say “I don’t like your tone” what that translates to is “the question you’re asking indicates you aren’t one of ‘us’ and you are an ‘other.’”

As an adult human male married to an adult human female and raising two juvenile human males and two juvenile human females I appreciated this documentary greatly.

You know what really kills me? That those people answer "What is a Woman?" with "Anybody that identifies as a woman." Back when I was in school if my teacher asked me to define a word, THE FIRST thing she'd tell me was NOT to use the word being defined in the definition, because then it's NOT being defined.

Matt is a courageous adherent of objective truth and reality.

When my wife gave birth to my daughter I remember the doctor yelling out, "it's a girl!". So then I knew it was a girl.

*My only criticism about this movie: it needs to be free on regular streaming services.* *My reasoning: because more people need to see this. The average person (especially those in the middle and left) need to see this. Those people are less likely to give money to the DW to watch it. As an adult human female, I got into trouble at a dinner party two nights ago when I said that I "identified as a panda bear" and believed that I should receive special consideration when visiting the local zoo. Some of the people laughed themselves silly and some of the other people were deeply offended. Matt Walsh makes perfect sense to me.

Glad he is asking these questions. Truth is very important and is sometimes hard to find in our society. Biology shouldn’t be ignored even as we try to find a balance with inclusivity. We should also note that If you we are going to have a society based on objective truths then religion shouldn’t exist. That is a personal truth.

The fact that there's even a discussion on," What is a woman", is very disturbing to me in this day and age.

When I was born, the doctors did not 'assign' my femaleness to me, they recognized and ACKNOWLEDGED my femaleness by the human female phyisical attributes of my anatomy. In other words, they accepted what was obvious...they didn't have to question what they saw by what they actually knew...even before they went to medical school; and you don't have to get a degree to know what is a female (or male) of many mammalian species, especially your own. What this travesty is doing to this genereation of children is abuse, plain & simple.

I was a STAUNCH liberal for most of my young life, having hit 29 this year. The last 2-3 years I’ve slowly but surely found myself aligning more and more with conservative values, I wouldn’t call myself a “conservative” in my ideological thought totally, but I’ve enjoyed listening to conservative pundits more than liberal ones mostly because facts and truth are more important to me than “feelings”. These conversations are wonderful, and I appreciate you gentlemen for providing your viewpoints without trying to tell me I’m a “horrible person” for disagreeing with you. Who knows maybe I’ll become and full fledged conservative down the road.

This documentary should be shown to all middle school and high school students in the USA. This guy is a genius.

I'm a total liberal and can safely say that Matt's documentary did win me over. My evidence-based / fact-driven mindset is drawn to the more logistical side of this transgender debate. Upon my daughter's suggestion I watched the documentary and was pretty stunned. So to support your argument about not making the tone too polarized so as to alienate or ignite the Left, it seems Matt has hit the right balance and succeeded.

Funny to think that Child Protection can take away your child from you for the slightest allegation of abuse. I used to be a subjective truth and spiritual kind of person and I’m definitely progressing to the conservative and Christian side! Something I never would have thought. Matt did ask at least one fairly contentious question in the documentary, along the lines of: "Is Santa Claus real? And if a 4 year old believes Santa Claus is real, should you believe that 4 year old when he/she tells you he/she the opposite gender? Doesn't that suggest a rather tenuous grasp on reality?" I've watched "What is a Woman" twice, and will watch it at least once again. Really excellent documentary.

27:51 I think that's awesome that you didn't bring faith at all in your documentary. I personally am atheist and non-believer (I even hated every single religion as a kid, because I considered anyone who believes in some invisible being in the sky as stupid). I've through my life experiences and friends, I've grown, despite still not being a religious person at all, into understanding what values religions bring to people. So I now reached a point in which I'm able to interact with someone that is religious without trying to judge them on their belief or dismiss them (and yes, it really sounds stupid that I feel like I need to state it, realizing that for most of my life I wasn't able to do that is quite telling). And some people around me do have as well very hostile opinions towards religions in general. So as was said in the interview, if I were to show this documentary to people I know, I'll know they'll be able to focus on the facts presented in the documentary rather than dismissing the point by default just because of some expressed belief.

My son got mixed up in a group of so called trans kids I high school. He had some friends who got into drugs and he didn’t want to do that, so he left those kids. Got accepted by a group of trans kids. Long story short, he thought he was meant to be a woman. Iknew he was just messed up, but he didn’t. He was ready to have body parts cut off. We were crushed. We agreed to look in to things. We watched many many many videos about the subject. Including many who de transitioned. Thank goodness he saw the light. He has changed 180 degrees. Blair White has helped a lot among others. Bless you guys for what you’re doing.

I work at a preschool… my class is literally 12-18 month olds. The concept that gender ideology is being introduced to children at that age in other schools is horrifying.

One of the interviewees essentially asked “why does this matter so much to you?” They want this stuff to fly under our radar, and they absolutely hate when we pick up on it. Matt did a great service in making this film.

I was impressed with Matt Walsh's approach to this documentary because he let the people answer his reasonable and benign questions, and the way they answered proves their absurdity and duplicity without him having to make a comment. The emperor has no clothes, and MW portrayed it well. He is fighting doublespeak with truth. Good bless him. (Also, buy his best-selling children's book, "Johnny the Walrus". It's entertaining, thought-provoking and relevant to the current insanity in a 5 minute read.)

I loved the parts where he asks them what a woman is, and they respond with something like “A woman” or “It’s what they identify as.” Then Matt would ask “Ok…but what IS that, what are they identifying as?” Most of them got agitated and avoided the question entirely afterwards
