Someone did the calculations and asserted that with a 3 point line he would have averaged like 57. But looking at Ms. Clarke, she was a better all round player, better rebounder, and although Pete literally invented some of those fancy passes, that people like Isiah Thomas and Magic Johnson have said they copied from Pete, Ms. Clarke had higher assists in college. I saw the NCAA final and one pass she throw very few current NBA players could have made that pass. It was pure Pete. Another similarity, Pete was given so much hate when he came in the NBA and not just jealous opposing players but his own teammates. He'd make a great pass and they would let it roll out of bounds. He almost had a breakdown that rookie year but still managed to average 23 points a gain. It wasn't until he got the hell out of Atlanta when he could be himself. Although Ms. Clarke is also getting some hate from jealous WNBA players, she also has received so much support and that's awesome.
