it really ruins a game when hackers do this, i would like to see your account paired with your gov ID or cell phone, then if your caught hacking your ID/ cell cannot be used ever again to play on the server. Something needs to be done.

It is the same with loot. Always hide my stashes in lakes and rivers but it always gets found on official but never on community. One hacker even refilled my crates with KAM's. Unreal.

@@Neztozc Yeah I did too although I don't play anymore. Official sucks for encounters, everyone's too scared of losing their gear. Community servers are better in that regard but come with their own problems

just started playing this game n it's fun. left warzone cuz hackers are just too much can't turn off cross platform so have to play with pc players with k&m and most of em cheat. this game is actually too fun but learned the hard way that community servers are way better than official.

i've almost hit my first 1000 in standalone, played with and learned from guys who have ~12k hours across mod and standalone so i learn from the best lol as for the state of the game, there's not really much "improvement". nearly all the new content and stuff they add is shamelessly ripped from mods without the consent nor credit of the authors, and they neglect the smallest QOL improvements like letting multiple people leave the vehicle or interact with it at once, fixing the desync problem, etc etc as well as qol improvements that mods fix, like allowing us to access inventory while in vehicles, turning on and off night vision while in vehicles, allowing us to use certain optics with night vision. hell they even released a map smaller than cherna that you pay 15 bucks for. it just goes to show how bland, boring, and even frustrating vanilla game for most players is when less than 10% of players have unlocked even one of the achievements on steam

The SA is shit. The arma mod was good because it was made 10 years ago, and was an amazing genre-starter. SA does not live up to a modern standard - it's the clunkiest game in the world, and the gunplay is even worse. If you're looking for a survival shooter experience, I'd say look towards things like Hunt, Tarkov and Rust. DayZ is a relic of the past.

It's funny I came to comments to complain about just that.. Not the choice in music. but the fact that i had to turn the volume up to heard the guys voice then when the music started it broke every piece of glass in my entire house. That is garbage editing.

I have a fair bit more than 11,000hours. Somewhere around 14-14.5k is more like the real number. But 11,000 seems to work well for the stupid title.

Well some players if the game doesnt provide something they want they are toxic .. from experience - i was new player with no mic and i always died when someone spotted me

How does this game work? You join a server and stay until you die? Like what if you're on for 2hrs and feel like logging off?

@@Yoko.Kurama basically they wipe the servers every two weeks because that's how long it take for the hackers to ruin the map for everyone.

I'm loving it so far! I currently have 104.1 hours and some days I can't stop playing it, it's brutally unforgiving but incredibly rewarding and thrilling. The beginning of your journey will be hard, but once you master the survival aspect of DayZ it's endless fun, I highly recommend it if you have the time

I play on official hardcore servers and it can vary. Some days I don't meet anybody at all and other days someone will run past me as I'm hiding in a corner or exiting a building, it can be hard to hear them coming even with headphones on at max volume. One time I spawned at the coast at night and ran into three other fresh spawns learning how to play the game!

Just remember not to be too trusting, the further you travel inland the more geared players will be, and people aren't nearly as friendly when they have a lot to lose

My stream didn’t know I was on official. I felt it was highly unlikely I’d get stream sniped because I never do official and everyone knows it so I could take my time and play properly. When you get people using your stream to meet you or kill your all the time, it affects your own decision making too unfortunately.

Totally agree with you, I love all his videos, but this one on vanilla was amazing! Other players definitely seemed more on point! Really tense just watching this 😎👍🏻

@@TheRunningManZ people who use your twitch to either kill you or even have a friendly encounter are the worst in my opinion it's like some kind of groupie behaviour. Don't get me wrong I'd love to meet you in game and maybe have an adventure but if it ever happens I'd want it to be organically.
