16 днів томуThe word 'sleaze' became synonymous with politicians in the 1990s - and still sticks to Westminster today. The latest in a recent string of scandals concerns Mark Menzies, who allegedly misused campaign funds to pay off 'bad people' who were holding him hostage in a flat.
But is this a problem that affects the entirety of Parliament? Or is one party more guilty than others? That's the question Shelagh Fogarty poses to LBC listeners. To discuss this, she's joined by political columnist Rafael Behr, who wrote the book 'Politics: A Survivors Guide.'

Well, there's a question. According to the information on the Rwanda 'plan' Wikipedia page, for every person sent from Britain Rwanda will send one back (in fact it says Rwanda will send an unspecified number back). Moreover, Rwanda will not take people who have criminal records. Interesting that they're kept those points quiet when reporting about it in the media, Is Rwanda safe? Hopefully. Since 2022 6 Rwandans have been granted asylum in the UK.
