It may sound weird but on the subject of upgrades, i feel like when you bring the Master builder over to home base he should have some sort of influence on upgrade times and maybe even cost. It doesnt even have to apply to all builders. If you assign him to an upgrade he should have a small boost that goes with him just by the nature of him being the “Master” builder he should know the secrets and short cuts to get things done quicker. Even if its only by a little bit. I know they dont want to give home base a clock tower but what if the Master builders hut has an internal clock tower just for him. I feel like it could be an interesting idea.

Also, seeing as he's always the 6th builder it won't be OP bc as soon as another builder is done with a project he will swap out with him to take his break. It makes sense too since it aligns with the fact he's trying to get some rest ASAP lol

I mean, yes. He is not a regular builder, but a "Master" builder. It makes sense. Also, when a regular builder's done with his building, he swaps. It isn't even too OP. What if we need him to be done ASAP because we need him in the builder base?

Best time in my opinion is when your lab is maxed. Upgrades from it take far too long to leave it empty while waiting for your buildings and walls to finish. Always keep your lab up

For me, it was always about the lab. Getting my troops and heroes to max. I would sacrifice my base for my offense. Get loot faster than people can steal it. If you did five attacks in one day, one of those attacks will be just to provide loot for attackers. The other four went into the base. You have to be very active to do that, but if you can you will keep your builders busy. And that 6th builder is really helpful.

Agreed, its always the heroes and troops in lab for me , as soon as they are maxed, I dont find any reason to say in the same town hall, some day some one is going to 3 star you eventually.

Plus as Judo mentioned in the video, there are some bottleneck town hall levels where the lab wont get max but the base would, I never faced such problems because of this playstyle.

I usually calculate when 1 or 2 of my builders are going to be finish with an upgrade....When they are near finish with the upgrade roughly around 1-3 hours left....i start to farm with a training potion...once im finish with the 1 hour farming session ill wait for those builders to finish and calculate how much loot would be left if i were to upgrade a certain building.....lets say im going to upgrade an archer tower costing 2 million but i have 5 million gold from the farming session that i did....i would then dump the 3 million on walls first rather than leaving it in my storages or not using a builder on an upgrade just to upgrade walls

Doing same, although I like to farm 1-2 days in advance to give me a slack time, you never know if you gonna make it in time or not Also I like to leave some loot if I'm planning to upgrade a big building, let's say eagle for 15 million in those cases I don't mind keeping 8-9 millions in storages for some days even if I get attacked and lose some

I didn't stopped rushing and fixing now, It's just the fact that th13 is the last level. If th14 comes in 3 months, I'll Just rush again even though my walls are lvl 12 and I don't see an issue 😌

@@Max-cr4zf you don’t need to upgrade all your walls, but you should upgrade most of your defensive buildings. I upgraded to th 10 with only half of my walls at lvl 10 and there has been zero problem for me

Thing to know: a lot of air troops become more used, so if you are th 9 max everything. And don't touch more the walls in future bcs siege machines needs 2 hits to destroy from walls lvl 10 to 15.

Personally for me the main reason I have to restrain myself from rushing to th13 is being able to use DE to produce Capital Gold because my Dark Elixir storage is constantly overflowing whenever I am not upgrading heroes so being able to use Dark Elixir in the forge would be very useful.

Judo! Question for Darien. Would you consider doing a per-troop tutorial mini game? Similar how Doom Eternal gives you a mini tutorial per gun. Where in the game does it tell you the E-Drag chain radius of 1 tile? Or that wall breakers actually target buildings? If you had a per-troop tutorial mini game, it’d be great for new players who don’t watch Judo 24/7 and would never realize these mechanics existed.

It's a good idea but there's a sense of happiness when u know more than the average player , and developing our skills according to the knowledge we have and continuously becoming better and competitive is a whole different feeling , its kind of a sense of achievement that we know so much about the game etc...

You can upgrade your townhall and have other upgrades in the background as long as their upgrade time is less than the townhall or at least just about the same time (And the upgrade is getting that building to max!!!)

The way I go about it is, in the beginning of my new TH level, I have all 5 builders working on the less expensive/less time consuming building, and use my elixir on my lab 24/7 then towards the end when the final upgrades take longer and my troops are max, I only use 4 builders on buildings, and I keep the 5th for walls which I put all my excess elixir into just to speed up the process. Then when everything but walls are max, I use both gold and elixir to upgrade, and by then a good amount of my walls are finished. I use Judo's baby dragon strat to farm, and I find myself with a looooot of loot as well, I'm th10 tho so idk how well it works for higher level THs, but I highly recommend that strat.

Not really th13 is so ez to finish since unlike th14 pethouse 4 levels u have 2 scatter shots 2 levels so it takes a lot less to upgrade NEW STUFF so u can focus on upgrading the rest 1 more level before fully max th14 and 15 is a pain in the ass tho

I would personally upgrade all walls before TH. I don't mind the progression slowness and I really like hiw does the TH look with maxed walls, but if it's really slowing too much maybe I wouldn't upgrade all walls.

I think supercell should add one more boost to th upgrade which research speed boost so that supercell team is reduced a bit to reduced timer

The section about the gold pass helped a lot because I’m planning on going to th9 this season but I wasn’t sure if I should fully max or do it once I’m th9 because I have more time due to hero levels

I am currently th12 and I have finished upgrading ally defences to max except th11 walls so i am farming to finish my walls to th 12 lvl wall...I have only got 74 more walla to go then I will upgrade the th12 to th13 I am playing patiently now

Upgraded to 11 when I had everything maxed except for the traps and a bomb tower. Had a ton of spare elixir so it was just a waste to not upgrade th

The th boost actually doesn't start when the upgrade is finished. It actually starts when I log in. For example if I log in to the game like a week after when the th was upgraded, the boost will start at that time

i was recently th 9 , but i was bored in th 9 because i had only some small troops left in lab and some walls ( yup i give less preferance to walls xD ) , and now im in th 10 , its so good in th 10 , seige machines helping me a lot in cwl ( yup im suffering from the matchmaking of cwl , all th 13 ,12 ,11 )

When to upgrade ur th ? Short answer: when you run out of troops to upgrade in labs or you have such a low amount of buildings to upgrade that you have one or more builders which cant work Long answer:

I prefer to use the hammer of building on town hall...I'm a casual player that's th13 right now, but i have enough time to grind enough loot to keep my builders permanently busy :) the reason why i prefer to use the hammer of building instead of just using loot is cuz i don't have gold pass, so the most optimized method I've found was stack on loot in any way possible, get the hammer, use the hammer on the townhall, and then immediately put that builder toward something else + whatever other builders are open at the time. yea it costs 120 league medals but it's worth the 16 day wait in my opinion. *if judo sloth sees this, i love ur vids dude and keep up the great work!

For me i assign one builder in every heroes so the rest are for other buildings. Th1 to th11 you don't need any heroes at looting or even at clan wars depend on what layout.
