So excited Season 2 is here! Thank you all for watching. My goal with this episode was to show you a different side of Jamie Dimon. Yes, there are some must-ask questions about the state of the global economy, AI, etc. but we also talked about family, childhood and how he does it all.“Sometimes I feel like I’m just riding the bronco and hanging on for dear life.” Would love to hear what you think.

Honestly I didn’t like the questions that much. So much emphasis on vague, nonsense question regarding ai (“is ai and fintech gonna replace banks”, pushing on the “chat jpm”), the one liner questions on hugely complex topics. She asked atomic questions that do not incentive critical thinking and discussion. Of course she had limited time so couldn’t dedicate 20 minutes to each topic, but a part from dimon’s brilliance this was underwhelming

Jamie Dimon's advice to his 20-year-old self is something we can all benefit from. He emphasizes the importance of working hard but also working smart. It's essential to think carefully and not waste time on tasks that won't bring you closer to your goals. He also stresses the significance of taking care of your mind, body, and spirit. When we prioritize our overall well-being, we're better equipped to handle the challenges that come our way. Dimon's words are a reminder that we can achieve all that we set our minds to, but we may not be able to do it all at once.

As an audience these are my questions for Bloomberg: 1. How has Jamie Dimon's leadership style evolved over his tenure at JP Morgan Chase, especially in response to various financial crises and market shifts? 2. Could you elaborate on some specific examples of how JP Morgan Chase has influenced global economic policies under Dimon's leadership? 3. Dimon emphasizes the importance of balancing family life with corporate responsibilities. How does he manage to maintain this balance, and how does it influence his decision-making? 4. The video mentions Dimon's remarks on Bitcoin and his skepticism towards it. Can you provide more context on his views and how they align with JP Morgan Chase's approach to emerging technologies? 5. Dimon's philosophy emphasizes the role of banking in societal progress. How does JP Morgan Chase actively contribute to social initiatives, beyond its financial activities? 6. What are some key strategies employed by Dimon to ensure JP Morgan Chase's resilience in the face of economic uncertainties and market disruptions? 7. The presenter mentions the potential impact of AI and FinTech on traditional banking. How does Dimon view these technological advancements, and what steps is JP Morgan Chase taking to adapt to the changing landscape? 8. Dimon's background and upbringing are briefly touched upon in the video. How do you think his personal experiences have shaped his leadership style and decision-making at JP Morgan Chase? 9. In light of Dimon's significant influence in global finance, are there any ethical considerations or concerns regarding the concentration of power within a single institution? 10. Looking ahead, what do you think are the greatest challenges and opportunities facing JP Morgan Chase under Jamie Dimon's leadership, particularly in a rapidly evolving economic and technological environment?

4 minutes into this video and still nothing interesting has been said about banking and global finance. Is this The View or Bloomberg?

How can you interview Jamie Dimon and not ask about the $34.5 trillion dollar debt while discussing sending tens of billions of dollars to other countries?

Excellent question. The only answer can be: This is a puff piece not an actual interview.

I am building a small financial business into a future global one. With lots of work ahead, I enjoy reading and watching about banking and financial titans. I find inspiration in Jamie's style of running a financial institution.

what's the business about?
@iwinmatthew
@iwinmatthew 13 днів тому
@@cristianamores3070 It's called K.T. Finance, and it has been around for about 30 years but has gone through some hard financial times in the last 10 years. I just took over operations this year, and we provide bridge loans to the under-served and under-banked communities in Kanyakumari District, India. We are relatively small, working on digitalizing all the core aspects of the business, streamlining operations, and improving our liquidity and operational cash flow so we can grow and help more people realize their dreams. We work to help people get out of a bind, be a helping hand in their vulnerable moments, and help rebuild a brighter future for themselves. We provide a way for people to meet their short-term financial needs, brought on by life difficulties, with reasonable interest rates so they aren't going to predatory lenders and getting into crippling debts. As part of our new Bridging Moments, Building Futures initiative, we will work with those who need a financial helping hand, educate them on financial matters, and help them get out of challenging situations.

Why do all of these comments seem fake? "Great interview. I really enjoyed last part" sounds like those fake Indian google reviews.

This may be a silly question that people might rip into me for, but how does a bank make a profit? And what does it usually do with that profit?

Banks borrow at a low rate and lend at a higher rate. Like buying bulk and selling retail, but with money.

1. You borrow money at a 18% rate 2. Banks give you 1% on your savings There's your answer

As above. Plus if a bank goes bankrupt due to bad decisions, the government bails it out it. Society bails it out. That's the best place to make money in today's world.

Hear what you are saying. But the system that propelled him to the top and protects him is not going to bring him down or punish him - not in a thousand years. 100% rigged and total impunity for the mandarin captains of finance (formerly industry).
