He just grew up. And you can still see he still struggles to open up and talk and thats because he didn't have had a childhood like other kids. That's why he has more wisdom. And he grew in Barcelona and they are great teachers and they are Catholics and teach them their ways. Look at other players from Barcelona La Masia, they all behave the same almost. Btw. Also you clearly haven't seen his other interviews.

Never seen Messi so happy and comfortable in an interview. Zizou is one of the very few people in the world who can truly and deeply understand what it feels like to be Lionel Messi. Putting their footballing attributes aside, these two men share a ton of life experiences… the pressure of heritage (Maradona/Platini), World Cup glory (2022/1998), World Cup trauma (2014/2006), Champions Leagues, El Clasicos, retiring from the national team before coming back, leading by example without being vocal…. Many parallels which shine through this interview. Great job @adidas 🙏🏻

Zidane, for me, is my all time favourite player. I saw him live once, for France, and he was a magician. He's a big man but could just glide across the pitch, and literally had everything in his prime. Speed, technique, ability, power, backed up with this underlying aggression and with a nasty streak, I always thought he defied physics, the way he moved, the way he played.

Imagine having these two in your team in full fitness and form 😮😮 that’s scary, zidane was always so classy on the ball. Personally being from Scotland and luckily being at the champions league final at Hampden I will never forget that zidane volley it was special. As a child my first ever football hero was maradona , I was 7 for italia 90 but I of course seen videos of maradona before then too. I always said no one will ever be better than him apart from jimmy Johnstone of course 💚 but I have to say for me personally messi is the greatest to have ever played the game , even now at 37 he is performing well. I personally now watch mls purely to watch messi play, that’s how big a star he is

Zizu puede ser una leyenda y Messi super humilde, pero los dos saben que si alguien tiene que estar nervioso en presencia del otros, ese es Zizu. Es increíble que el mejor jugador de la historia del deporte más grande de todos se comporte de esa manera durante toda su carrera. Teniendo los pergaminos para ser egocéntrico y que literalmente ningún jugador en la historia pueda decirle algo, él decide comportarse como alguien que recién debutó en primera división. He is the most elegant player who has ever played this game, and possessed magic in his boots. Messi is the master of dribbling, a super human genius who has a bird's eye view of game, and is capable of unlocking any defence on his day. Messi attacks the goal like a Great White shark who sees the defence as just bait in his way.
