The prices are out of reach from most buyers, if TOYOTA is looking to keep them out of reach from buyers they are doing a Great job.

From the looks of things my 2023 TRDOR has not depreciated one penny. Toyota will have to drop the 2024’s at least 10-15% off MSRP and drop the used 3rd gen’s at least 20% of those prices before these trucks start moving. Toyota’s not the only ones playing people for fools. Ford,Ram and Chevy are playing the same game.

If you have excellent credit, 661 to 780 (prime), the best used vehicle interest rate is going to be somewhere around 9.73%. Most people will fall into the 601 to 660 (near prime) which will be around 14.12% and a sizeable amount of people will fall into the 501 to 600 (subprime) which will be around 18.89% interest. Let that sink in people on a $40 to $45k used vehicle loan.

I used to drive by that dealership often when I still lived in WA. It’s no surprise to me that their prices are astronomical. It seems like most Toyota stealers in western WA are living on a different planet.

I just got a 2021 TRD Sport 4x4 Taco for roughly just over mid 40K's with 29K miles off lease from a dealers service manager, this included the rust proofing an what not!~

TRD sport 2023 I bought it in December the dealer price was $45,500 I got it for $41,500 tax included I don’t like the new 4 cylinder and tha prices are sky high in New York.

Bought a new Tacoma in 2006 kept for 12 years and was really happy with it. Bought a new Tacoma in 2018 and was really disappointed with it . Sold it after 5 years Resale value was the only good thing about it. Both were TRD off roads. Now driving a Ford 150 and love it

I paid $44.420 out the door(sticker was $49.620) for my 2023 SR5 v6 4x4 fully loaded Nav, BSM, cross path detection, signals on mirrors, rear parking sensors. Keyless entry Double cab, and 5’ bed. I wonder how much they would sell mine for with 14,450 miles, I definitely know they would low ball me 😂😂😂 and probably try to give me $30k I did add a bed cover with Bilstein 5100 all around the front adjusted 2” and a 1” rear block at 5.000 more miles I’ll be buying 265/75R/16 Toyo AT3 and getting rid of the 245/70R/16 wimp tires.

I use to have a 2022 RWD Tacoma DCSB MGM and traded for a 2024 Tundra Limited Hybrid iForceMax. The only Tacoma I won’t mind buying would be a 2024 SR MT Underground.

If you plan on buying a toyota, id read this comment. Ppl only want the v6. No one is paying 50k plus a 10-20k mark up for a 2.4l i4 turbo.. are you joking? The best midsize out right now is nissan frontier, and it's affordable. 3.8L V6 with 310hp. Toyota is not the toyota of 10-20 years ago, they are pure garbage. I bought one and refinanced because i was so desperate to get rid of it. Super loud motor for no reason, slowest vehicle ive ever driven, barebones, sound proofing is non-existent..and the seats.... the seats.. i didn't believe the rumors, i thought "theyre just seats like any other seats" but no, they messed my back up. The lumbar support goes halfway up thr seat to the middle of your back and it's this cheap design to where a rectanger pushes out and is rock hard, it hurts, but if you put it away in the seat, it leaves an indent.. i didnt notice it at first but one day at work i touch the middle of my spine and jumped from the unexpected sharp pain, i didnt know what it came from, then i realized my spine was going into the indent while driving, it's been a few months since i sold it and my back is still messed up. I regret buying a toyota so much. I had a 2004 blazer with a 4.3 V6 with 190hp so i saw the rav4 and i thought, "this is the same size as my blazer was, and it has 203hp so this should be a perfect swap, this is the most bought SUV on the market, if they were that bad, no one would buy them." After i bought one i looked at the customer satisfaction rating, it was 2 out of 5, less than half of the ppl who buy toyotas are happy with them. I had a 2021 rav4 xle awd with a 2.5l i4 with 203hp, i couldnt even believe how slow it was, they put gas limiters on the throttle(not a speed governor), they put this feature that makes it so no matter how hard you hit the pedal, only a certain amount of gas comes out for the first few seconds, you also cannot floor it, if you floor it in a toyota, they have a feature that causes the RPM to shoot all the way up but adds no horse power, i figured that out when i was making a u turn on the highway and a semi was barreling towards me and i slammed the pedal and my rpm shot up and my speed stayed the same, i had to pull off the road because the semi couldnt slow down and i couldnt speed up fast enough, it was very dangerous. I took it in the shop because i thought the transmission was messed up but the mechanic told me toyota makes them like that on purpose so you cant float a valve, then he said "wHy WoUlD yOu WaNnA fLoOr It AnYwAyS?".... umm in case i need to? Id rather float a valve then get turned into soup on the highway. But all their lil 4 cyl engines cant handle any abuse so they make it so you can only drive the way the car wants you to, you have no say in the matter. I was so desperate to get rid of it, i swapped it for a grand cherokee. It was 27k, they added a 10k markup which made it 37k, then the interest was 10k, so they charged me 50k for a 25k vehicle.. i traded it for 24k and the 2021 grand cherokee for 10k. So i went from paying 50k for a 27k vehicle to paying 35k for a 45k vehicle. Do not buy a toyota, i promise you will regret it. Thank me later. Get a jeep or a nissan frontier, ppl call them junk because theyre made to be driven however YOU want. So if you wanna floor it every time you take off, or have comfortable seats without having to buy 4 models up, you have that freedom.
