Paul looks at 3 of the best outdoor security cameras currently on the market in 2021; the Nest Outdoor Camera, the IMOU Bullet 2E and the C800 from ANNKE. The Nest and the IMOU can both work as wireless security cameras, whilst the IMOU and the ANNKE can both work off a wired Ethernet connection. The ANNKE can also work off PoE, Power over Ethernet, meaning you only need to run a single cable for it for both data and power (plus you don't need to worry about WiFi signal strength).
So, if you're looking to build the best wired CCTV system for your home, a selection of C800s might just be your best option. Or if it's the best wireless CCTV system for your home that you want, the Nest Ecosystem is fantastic but requires you to pay for cloud storage if you want recordings, whereas the IMOU gives you the option of cloud storage for your footage or recording to an internal MicroSD card in the camera itself.
