If you are going to shore to sun, wear a wrap, and then you will have something to lay on. Those rocks get hot enough to cook on! Good idea getting the bathtub it really is a lifesaver!

I know I say this each and every week, but it absolutely makes my day to watch you both. I cannot wait for my boat to be complete hopefully sometime in October. At which time Captain William all I have to do is find myself a dentist and I’ll be set to travel the world, tell then I absolutely love watching the both of you. I love watching you guys you are quite a a grin! You are one lucky bastard buddy Jana is gorgeous! Not to mention great attitude! You give me hope I’m right about the same age as you. So here’s a silly thought just me, I would have as a secondary dinghy, and inflatable that you could just put a little three or four horse on in case of emergencies such as the one you’re in. How much does that aluminum dinghy weigh just out of curiosity. That’s like the dinghy to outlast all dinghies. Happy birthday, Yana! May you too enjoy many many more together. William Yana .... Take a look at how james Wharram solved the getting on and off of his Sixty foot plus Cats .. like Spirit of Gia.. its like a lowerable landing net/ ramp. Not an option on this... If the dingy hoist is locked theres either a pawl got bent... Or the motor drive has stripped the teeth on the pump drive if theres a reduction set up. They will sink if the pipes or valves leak.🤔 Not seeing it, its hard to workout. Meantime you going to need to attach a couple of blocks to the lift arms.

William I did not notice if you had a lock on your motor to the dinghy's transom or not - might be worthwhile to drill a hole through and put a lock on it...thieves always go for the easiest pickings. 2 potentials: a) you might lose your dingy and motor b) they pass your dinghy by...no Lg bolt cutters. P.S. (yes I am old) why not put a GPS tags hidden on your boat and motor (and other stuff onboard) separately just in case...you can track them online and recover your property (with police assistance). I am sure I don't need to mention for you to take pics of all your valuables on board - upload to the cloud. safe travels - be well - SteveInVancouver

If it were not for bad luck you would have no luck at all talking about your dingy. So I'm curious did you get your davit fixed? I have complete confidence in you William that you will be able to get it fixed. I love the last Island that you were on I could explore that for days, just imagine what you could find on their. So....is your new dingy heavier than a traditional dingy? Just wondering if the weight of the new dingy overwhelmed the hydraulic motors.

just need to have 1 additional block in place (on each lift) to cut the weight it's lifting by 50%. William is smart enough to know that. (Always carry 2 extra sets of small block and tackle...not going to mention rope, it's a given on a boat)
