The lead-up to Eurovision 2023 has begun! The countries that are representing in this year's contest have already started to select who they want to send to Liverpool.
Romania is one of those and they're holding their own contest called Pabandom iš naujo 2023.

I love Lithuania NF selection, really good songs. My favourites are Ruta, Paulina, Monika and Beatrich. Honestly, I don't have any idea who's going to win

Aweh, I love “Need More Fun” tbh. I just wish Justé was on the stage singing the entire time. I think it does have a meaning too… it’s all about letting go of the pressure that society puts on us to be constantly put together. I’d like to see Ruta or Paulina win though.

Crazy theory with Justė’s song: In the first heat she was only on stage in the last minute of the song, in the semi final she appeared before the song was halfway finished. WHAT IF Justė appears on stage for the whole song or at least the majority in the final and that has some sort of hidden meaning?!?! Granted I don’t know what that hidden meaning would be but- I can dream 😅

I can't really decide between Ruta and Paulina. Both have great songs with strong potential at Eurovision and sound like they could turn into international radio hits. Overall this is one of the most competitive lineups I have seen from a NF this year. I have to congratulate Lithuania 👏🏼

Strong potential has only Beatrich, with such moves, she does not have shortness of breath and she has charisma, she'll be high by juries

I definitely wouldn't agree that 'so low' has any potential to turn into an international hit. The synthpop trend is so overdone by now and 'so low' is a particularly static example

I agree with your 1st. place for me there is no competition for Paulina however the jury and televote points aren't putting her in 1st position so I am afraid to not see her win

Hello dear Noosh 🙂 i can't wait to see it final round this Saturday of lithuanian national selection , my favorites in the final is Beatrich , Monika Linkytė , Petunija , Ruta Mur , Joseph June and Gabrielius Vagelis , and i think huge competition in the final will be between Beatrich , Ruta Mur and Petunija ❤

Agree since The Roop Lituania is taking it seriously, it's a really nice selection filled with good songs enjoyable to listen to on Spotify. Don't know if they any of them will achieve much but they are all really solid

Ruta's song has mood, depth, and substance. I love when a song takes actual risks, and Ruta's song does that. It's gorgeous.

Really want Ruta Mur. Beatich is the favourite for some reason but her song is so generic and I can see it NQing with all these rock songs already in the semi finals. The reason why the roller bladers are there in Ruta's song is not only the 80s vibe but also that in the music video Ruta is at a bar searching for other people after being dumped (I think that's the story) and she is surrounding herself with other lonely people including the roller bladers. And in the first verse she sings 'I could go on forever, showing you what it could be like' with the roller bladers showing metaphorically what a relationship is like when it gets going.

Paulina and Ruta are also my favorites, hoping for one of them. However Beatrich is one of better ones to win. And btw Ruta is she not he :D you called her "Him" :D :D she is familiar with LGBTQ, I love her and that 80's vibe. My heart would be the happiest if Ruta won but Paulina is good too. also strobe ligting effect is Spain 2022 copy, so even staging is not that impressive. To her defence though, she's working with similar swedish producers who make similar songs year after year, so you can;t expect anything else at this point.

Paulina's song is a typical Eurovision song, every year we hear several similar ones. There is nothing original and distinctive about it. I don't think that Lithuania will vote for her.
