Well, Azerbaijan has entered into an all weather defense agreement with Pakistan and Turkey. Why shouldn’t India counter by helping Armenia. Anyways, Indian should always help moderate Christian/Jewish countries against extremist Muslim nations.

India's Army is downsizing to reduce costs while India's government is looking to pick fights in every corner of Asia, with every one of its neighbours and also among its own citizens. You people are truly divorced from reality. This is mirage created by the fact that Pakistan has taken some extremely stupid decisions which has put it out of the fight for the time being but it will not remain that way forever. External benefactors of Pakistan have intervened and things will start to improve. Pakistan no longer has a significvant threat from the Western border so the pressure on the LOC will be much larger than what it was before 2020. In a few years bangaldesh will also start to diverge from Indian interests and open up a 3rd front. That is when you will start to feel the pinch from poking your nose in all these petty fights.

Armenia is Christian and Azerbaijan is Muslim, therefore It is logical for Islamic Pakistan and Turkey to support Azerbaijan. It is India's right to support whoever they want to, including Armenia. India should try to sale at least 1 squadron of Tejas mk1A fighter jet to Armenia with Astra series of missiles, SAAW, guided hsld 450kg, guarav bombs, rudram series of anti radiation missiles etc Also try to sale prachand lch integrated with mistral air to air missile, dhruvastra atgm, guided rockets...if required provide with line of credit to purchase these weapons.

Yes and no. While fighter jets would be good, the limited budget of Armenia would put a lot of pressure on the budget for other military stuff. UAVs and air defence systems would be much better and effective 🇮🇳🩵🇦🇲

@@sta255_ read my comment again...I said India can provide Tejas MK1a on the line of credits which will ease economical burden on Armenia significantly....Tejas Mk1A integrated with much modern weapons and sensors can easily establish air dominance over Nogorno karabakh region it can also perform operations like SEAD and DEAD mission quite effectively and can almost completely curtail drone usage by Azerbaijan which caused extensive damage to the Armenian air defence system and artillery systems.

The Armenia - Azerbaijan theater is a great proving ground for Indian weapons. These can be tested on an enemy that is an all-weather islamic ally of Pakistan. We should give the Armenians all the latest technology and use the conflict for baselining developing new tech. Whoever wants to buy weapons, India should sell and make profit. India is a neutral country. You pay we sell. We do not choose side we choose buyers. Just like Israel or Turkey, that are selling weapons to both Ukraine and Russia.
