I will never forget hearing this song for the first time in the backseat of a car. It was the only time in my life I can remember being literally flabbergasted by a piece of media. It literally shifted the goalposts for me. Like I had a different standard of what music even was now. I went home and immediately looked it up again on my computer. Within 3 months, I owned 2 greatest hits CD's, 3 classic albums, a live concert and a Queen documentary... and I had never even cared about classic rock or 70's/80's music up to that point. I chase that feeling now. I literally call it the "Bohemian Rhapsody" feeling. That feeling of the goalposts shifting. Of me changing my standard of what entertainment can be. I've never seen a show, or watched a movie, or read a book, or heard ANYTHING that quite did it in my adult life. Only this goddamn song. So, yeah, I agree. This is the greatest song ever written.

Been years,and still whenever I come across this legend of a song,it mesmerises me to the core tbh. Just wow. No other words to describe tbh. Just wow.

Certainly, over the years, lots of artists have recorded their versions of the song and most of the recordings were received by the public with a, "Oh, that was pretty good." I am commenting today, 11/26/20, and I see that this video came out, 10/31/18. And that over five million people have looked at it. In January, 2020, America's Got Talent/The Champions, was viewed by America and the whole world. A unique show which featured artists who had previously won talent contests. On the opening night a young girl from Norway came on stage to sing. In the short interview preceding her performance nothing was mentioned about what she was about to sing. At the time she was 13 years old. She proceeded to sing a version of Bohemian Rhapsody (her own arrangement) which literally stunned the judges, the audience and the viewing audience! Her name is Angelina Jordan. Anyone who is a big fan of BR must listen to Angelina Jordan sing her version of the song. You become mesmerized and cannot believe what you are hearing. The remaining members of Queen were quick to say they thought her performance was incredible and, said without question that Freddie Mercury would have been very pleased. In my opinion, what Angelina did (at 13!)is a MASTERPIECE and will never be forgotten.

Bohemian Rhapsody is pre conceived in Freddie Mercury’s mind. The lyrics tells about pain, hopelessness and desperation which everybody could relate. Mix it up with five part from acapella, ballad, rock, opera to finally coda with all emotions put into the song is absolutely amazing. No song in history of modern music could matched that. To music expert, Bohemian Rhapsody is a masterpiece. Well. To us it’s just a song that will remain in our hearts and memory for a long time...a classic.
