They're always staring at you. Staring and fantasizing. They'll say they're looking at you because they love you. Believe me, it isn't love that they're feeling. It's wicked plotting. They're fantasizing and plotting about the chaos and pain they're going to inflict on you when it's convenient for them. No good thoughts are going thru their mind when they're staring at you. They are continuously imagining scenarios of evil. They're horrible people

He thought it was hilarious he’d capture me on video while I was sleeping. He’d video me over and over quietly snoring then show me laughing. He did this so much. I wonder what other secret videos he took and photos that I have no idea about. Now that we are not together I wonder how often he looks at these videos and pictures… I know he keeps them and it makes me uncomfortable not even knowing what they are and what he gets from it. Creepy. Yes, he’d keep me up all night on the nights where the next days I’d have a big work day but not other nights where the next day I had nothing going on. So evil. So glad I cast him out of my life.

Sleep deprivation is used in torture, to break that person down...

It's the obsessive stuff they do you think you would only see in horror movies. I remember him staring at me in the dark and saying things in his creepy voice like, "How did I find you?" - "How could I be so lucky?" or those warning such as, "You don't know what's ahead of you." ... Translation: "You're the perfect victim and I will have my pleasure destroying you."

This is the FIRST time I've heard this discussed!! Yes, one night I woke up in the middle of the night to see him sitting up in bed looking down at me with a goofy smile on his face. It was SO darn weird! No, he did not have an explanation when I asked him what he was doing. I don't know how long he stayed like that as I drifted back to sleep. Only God in heaven knows the depth of insane evil of those psychopaths. 😯I never regretted the day that I finally had the good sense to leave him.

I've seen that stare a few times from different ones in family. All Narcs, and all now dead. I was the only Christian in the family. I do believe the evil could not survive in the presence of good. Each died prematurely of cancer diagnosis over the last several years. I know it sounds strange but they all were very abusive in verbal ways because I've tried hard to live a loving life and it irritated them not being successful in putting out my light. I'm still standing.

It is, by far, the absolute scariest f***ing thing whenever they smile like that. Their eyes are devoid of compassion and they stare at you like you’re an object to be toyed with.

I remember one time my narc ex gf whipped open the curtains in our hotel room before 7 AM, knowing that I need and enjoy my sleep. She said she wanted t get a picture of the sunrise, which she did, but I believe that was purposeful sleep deprivation, and that was early on in the relationship!

He was breathing heavy and watching me sleeping and when I opened my eyes I asked him what’s wrong and he replied in an agreement tone that he knows what I’m thinking while I’m in deep sleep very terrorizing

I was married to an ab*sive man for 3 years. I frequently woke up in the night believing I was choking on something. I would wake up trying to get whatever I thought I was choking on out of my throat, then when I realized there was nothing there, I went back to sleep. This happened a lot when I was married to this man. Once I left, it NEVER happened again. It crossed my mind that maybe he was choking me in my sleep, but I’m not sure.

💐✋💐 Evil people can send their demons they carry inside their bodies through staring which affect the victims. When this happens , hot flashes hit you like sun heat and you feel restless or sick. The narcissist is connected with demons so their staring or touching can hit you.

Danish, i can't believe all the topics you talk about I've been through. Being photographed sleeping to video . To being told how i should dress, to toning down my makeup. Can't swim without him, can't wear a bathing suit, can't shake a mans hand or talk to even a male store clerk. To him watching my eyes and where I look to the point i kept my eyes down to avoid fights. I felt like i could not stand one more lecture from him about anything. His phone he protected, slept with it under his pillow. His crazy morning bathroom habits always involving his phone. He told me he loved my personality but only for him, tone it down in public. He wanted to know my every move. Texting all day and all night. Its like he sensed if i did anything different from my routine. He'd be calling right then. He followed me on GPS. He tried to dictate what friends i could see. How did i ever put up with all of this. Of course there is more....its just so much to remember and write. He told me he always tells the truth, and he could never stay home, always out.

The first thing I learned early on is when you're dealing with sociopath/ psychopath or narcissist, they try to keep you from sleep. Mine was angry that i can fall asleep in seconds. He would wake me up several rimes stating i stopped breathing. When that didnt wok he would set alarms on the clock at 3:30 am to go off then hit snooze till 7:00 when i was pregnant . I slept on the couch after that. I filed for divorce 10 days after daughter was born.

I was being terrorized by a pair of peeping toms at night who were always trying to get photos of me while asleep. The police didn’t believe my story which was terrifying since the way a woman looks when asleep is similar to what she looks like dead.

This was years ago, before I knew of narcissism. The first time it happened I woke up to him on his side, his arm in a way to hold his head up, his face was almost touching my head! I screamed & pushed him away. I told him he EVER does that again, my fist were flying! His excuse was he was asleep, now I have bad eyesight, room is dark. It took 2 more times when he (finally) got the message I wasn't kidding! It hasn't happened since. Also he's tried tapping me in the middle of the night, & after he gets hit back, he hasn't done it since. Now yes im still with him, i just can't afford to have my own place. Now if I won a large amount of money (lottery) well I'd be gone with the quickness!

My ex husband , whom I believe to be a malignant narcissist, took a picture of me while I was sleeping, I awoke to the flash.

I had this experience too. It creeped me out. Not only videoing me in my sleep, but generally creepy side or direct stares that made no sense and were just seriously uncomfortable and made me think it was not the person but someone else there with me.

Yes.. and he couldn't give any answer... It was strange ... We aren't seeing each other anymore... To many strange behaviour. It all/everything is correct.. and disgusting

My psychologist never ever stopped staring at me. She always looked straight into my eyes! Non stop. Her look was serious. Penetrating. Mesmerizing. Hypnotizing. At the beginning I thought it was nice that she focused on me but only after she got rid of me with no early notice, and after a long time of trying to figure out what happened to me in that long period of time with her and that ‘therapy’ did I realize that that stare was totally not normal!!! I can still see her eyes and the weird look in them. Did anyone experience any kind of abuse by their therapist?

The narcissist in communal narcissism often uses a flashlight when doing that sort of thing. A real life situation I had to go through while more than one of them was threatening me with being put away for the rest of my life into an institution for the insane; While the person who put me into the hospital through domestic violence 5 days after I gave birth was lying about so many things. I could have died before finally convincing all of the people working in that kind of communal narcissism towards me as being undeserved.

It happened once in my room about 5 months before I left my narcissistic mother. I was very certain that I locked the door, and she used the emergency key to trespass my personal space. Instead of her waking me up, it's my instinct feeling of insecure that woke me up and noticed her creepy staring. I remembered the way she staring at me is a mixture of smirk and contempt. It's not friendly. She didn't even bother answering my question of why she doing this, and she just distracted me with some other not related excuses and chores. After that, I always moved a cabinet to blocked the door before I slept.

Once, in my late teens, I woke and saw my narc mother standing in the doorway just staring at me. It was both unpleasant and disconcerting with no parental love emanating from that stare. I have no idea if that was the only time or not.

Mine took pictures of me unconscious in a hospital bed having just had a kidney removed. Shudder

Born and not made 100%. I can testify that we have narcissism in our family tree. My parents were loving and neurotypical. I had to share a room with my three year older narc sister since toddlerhood. Torture. She was a baby narc and grew up into the aggressive thing she is today. Neurologically, her behaviour has not changed. She was NOT traumatized but has traumatized me and others.

My mother used to do this through my childhood and early adulthood. Realize fully now she was plotting various strategies to take me down. "Mom, how come you staring at me?" "Nothing." - continues to stare but I could never make out what vibe was behind it.

Some narcissists constantly stare at their neighbors too, not just their families, and will go to some lengths to make their presence known to their targets regardless of hour. Their only deterrent is the presence of witnesses.

Wow thats new and yes! So many times this happened with me where i woke up to him staring at me. It seems like a sleeping person is at hia most vulnerable state and so its the perfect opportunity for a predator to attack. They probably fantasize this attack while staring at you sleeping

Danish I will never forget right before I ended my Toxic Relationship I caught my ex staring at me when I woke up. He was looking at me as though what does it take to break you. I remember asking him why are you staring at me like that? He didn't have an answer. I never experienced that before.

i dont know if my narc demon father stared at me while i slept or not. what i do remember is that he used to love to catch me off guard to just start talking endlessly. for example when i came out of the restroom, or just when stepping out of a door, or after waking up or going to sleep. i remember when i was very young, 13 or 14, i found him standing at my bed and talking while i was sleeping. he was talking about a pimple i had gotten recently and how it dissapeared while i was sleeping. he told me to get up and go look in the mirror. whatever was behind his behaviour, its just creepy. and so many times when i came out of the restroom, he was standing there and just started talking some random BS. i had to literally shove past him. at other times he used to watch me walk across a room and just when i was stepping out, he started talking to make me stop and come back. in my culture, its considered a bad omen if someone is called by name while stepping out of the house. dont know if his intention was to cast a freakin bad omen on me but its just deliberate shitty behaviour. i also remember an incident when we went to a wedding, i randomly walked past a table where he was sitting with an aunt of mine. thats when he said in a voice loud enough for me to hear that i was difficult to get married off. that freaking demon was gossiping about me and telling people that i am difficult to get married. and he said it as if i was supposed to hear that and as if i would have been involved in that conversatiom!!! i realized very much later what that tactic was supposed to be. he was smearing my image and talking in a way that i randomly hear the smear but while walking so that 1. i dont reply back (a real conversation is when the concerned ppl are involved in the conversation from beginning to start, but when someone is walking past, - the person walking past is NOT a member of that conversation and cannot fully reply). this tactic was supposed to push through the idea that i know this about myself and its a well-known and well-discussed fact that i am difficult to get married!!!! such a freaking psycho!!!! all these things first of all, no normal person would do. no normal person would go around gossiping about their own child and specially not without discussing it with them. i was very young at that time and even in my culture i had not reached marryable age!!!! and second of all, to present a smear campaign against anyone, let alone your own child, in such a disadvantageous way, is just devilish. and the demon has tried to tarnish my and my little brothers image in the whole family when we were just really little kids and our life had not even started. the demon will burn in hell for all eternity for what he has done.

Oh wow I had a creepy old roommate who would do that. Didn't know about Narcissism at the time, but he reminded me of my father, who also had the creepy stare as I was growing up. This man insisted that God had told him I was to be his wife, so he began demaning conjugal rights, which just seemed crazy to me. I was told by some friends who were tending to me after I had been thrown off my horse and was out of it in pain that he had sat down next to me and started molesting me until they chased him off. Now I understand his odd behavior is characteristic of Narcissism. I'm glad he moved on.

I thought the flashlight was to help her find my prescription meds in the dark. A couple months ago, I found a pillow had knocked over everything on my nightstand. This pillow had been left there in the mess. It was a couch pillow from her living room. It wasn’t a pillow I ever slept with, and it didn’t belong in that bedroom. Yes, I 100% know what y’all are thinking. You guys get it. When I tell “normals” about stuff like this, they don’t believe me or think I’m exaggerating.

Thank you so much Danish. My inside gut feeling asked me to stop sleeping with my narc husband because it was killing me from inside . I only felt so used and sleep deprived with him. Now, sleeping in a different bed with my children and I promise I get quality sleep. He used to watch me throughout the night and monitor my heartbeat and tell me that I knew the exact moment that I drifted off to sleep. Only to continue with his secret acts after that in the night.

My husband was say a lot that when I breathe at night my breaths were great, quiet and good. I didn't think anything about it but one day I said how do you know I breath quietly. He said when he woke up at night he would check. I said you look at me breathing and he said with pride- yes, just wanted to make sure you breathe OK.????? A creepy feeling came over me but this was long before he cheated and we divorced. While we were back and forth, I caught him staring at me (one of the times we were going to make it work)and I ask him why was he staring at me. He said-oh I can't look at you now? I said it is creepy, you are creeping me out! He quit. Never did it again to my knowledge. Also, everything he came back as we were trying to make it work, at night we would bexwatching TV and loud bans would hit the front of the house (we have alum siding. In my mind I thot it was someone banging against the outside but looked -no one was there) or in my mind I sounded like someone was throwing something against the house. He never would check which was strange as he was always the "protector". It got so bad I even went out the next morning to see if perhaps a bird was dead that might have hit the house. Nothing. The times we separated and now divorced, it has never happen again. Yuk! Now, I wonder if it was not demonic spirits acting. That, in itself, makes me think what in the world. Now this is a man I loved with everything in me and was always kind, loving, considerate. What is up with this? He would comment somebody is hitting the house but NEVER checked it out.????????

My ex would do this. I'd wake to see him leaning over me, staring at me. It was very discomforting, especially as I'd told him how my big brother from my psycho family would often wake me by holding a pillow over my face, amongst other tortures. He was never punished as he was the golden child whose pathological lies were always believed. I can still hear him roaring with laughter when I awoke, frightened and struggling for breath. The ex would also take lots of photos of me, even though he knew I hated it, and would only give them one cursory glance, so that too felt very weird. And the staring with those dark, unblinking eyes. I'd get the same from my narc niece and her flying monkey husband, glad to say they're out of my life now. I just ran across yet another narcissist in a support group I attend. He pretended to be my friend, but would make so many passive-aggressive remarks, I'd wonder what his problem was with me. It was only after the 2nd time he'd humiliated me in front of an audience, that the penny dropped, and he's now persona non grata. I wont give people 2nd chances anymore, that's for sure. My husband woke me with cusswords and beratement every morning when he got up for work. Hundreds and hundreds of times. Pretty sure it's a crime...torture....and then I was expected to "get over it", or I was the problem.

💯 on point. One of your best videos I must say. Mine took pics and videos of me while sleeping. Even hit me on my head in the middle of the night when in deep sleep and then did as he was deep asleep. When I asked what this was he answered" If this was so then you probably earned it". And used sleep deprivation a lot, also jealous when wanting a nap (he even got jealous when I talked to my mom on the phone or when I did something for me or worked somewhere else... that he considered as not useful for him and called this doing nothing ) and caused psychic stress by telling me to leave and when I tried to leave shortly after, he would come after me and get agressive. This happened 4 times before I could finally leave and escape. He attacked me indoor and outdoor in front of the house and at the end of the street. Today, looking back from a distance and with all the information I have thank to you and others providing content explaining what is going on, I must say that I can not understand why I fell for such a person and I ask myself why I did not trust my intuition. Every word they speak and every "nice " thing they do is in fact a lie or manipulation. Nothing else to find. Pure evil. Glad I today know why I met these 3 people. Looked at family patterns esp these of mom and dad and at family dynamics. It was not my fault but I got all the consequences ( waisted years, no children trauma and people looking at me saying your life is weird.... Even though I am a lovely person and the only thing that went wrong was I got tought how to dress and behave in high society but also not to defend myself and not to be myself but rather meet others'expectatiobs as a child. My parents did not see that they chopped s.th off of me when raising me strict. That made me the perfect narc target. I knew at age 10 that I had gotten the wrong tools to survive. I told my parents back then. But I had no clue how this would enroll the play over the years. Tragic. I feel betrayed in every way you can think of. Time, peace, money, lifetime,.... At least my parents did not do it intentionally like the 3 narcs I met. They simply did not know better. Feel like my life got wasted or I wasted it. Makes me sad. Would have loved to have a big family.

My ex did all the stuff you said in your video relating to sleep. He would stick his finger near my nose while 4am in the morning waiting with a phone and take photo. I was like what the hell ... im half asleep, at those times i did not know much about NARC behaviour but everything you say is 1000 percent true. They plot so much it took me 7 years of monitoring his behaviour to make sure im not wrong. They never are wrong and make u believe you are crazy. Very good presentation. When I used to sleep, I called my daughter a spy. She was always staring at me In the middle of the night. It always gave me the creeps

My mother always tried, too often successfully, to control me in a demeaning manner. So after my father’s death , I was 32 at that time, she got me to a boat trip on the Wolga river from Kasachstan to Moscow . This was at a time where cellphones did not exist yet, so no photos yet. We had a small “room “ on the boat for two persons.I was very tired after this long journey and fell asleep , still at night time. She told me, she had watched me ! Sleeping. I asked myself why she would do this, I didn’t ask her.To me it felt weird. Now I understand this was a way to tell me their eyes controlled me while I was asleep. She used to control my body functions early on in my childhood. She commented on everything she could get aware of, like when I had my first monthly bleeding at the age of nearly thirteen: Pause. That’s early though. Why would she do this!? So I even was “ proven” wrong on this matter. Or she could look at me before my monthly bleeding to ask suspiciously, if this might be the case? I hated that. I know there are certain signs, but why would she want to deal with this? Her ongoing tactics were blaming, shaming . Why should I be ashamed of becoming a woman? When I Read the headline of your video I felt urged to watch . Her behavior I felt was all about controlling me.I was unconscious this happened or how to name it. I often felt kind of furious about this. I learned from various sources over the last months, not only from you, that both my parents had narcisstic traits and how this followed me into adulthood. I am thankful to learn what all this was about ( I am 67 now) and why I had so much guesswork to do during my life. My first husband was openly narcisstic, my second one covert. It seriously hardly killed me. When I got out I was happy and curious during that summer. A severe depression hit me during the fall of that year. I recovered, attended a good clinic . Afterwards I felt my difficulties in decision-making. The smallest ones were difficult for me: I was over-functioning when I was with others. I was not capable of living my life on my own. That’s exactly what my parents taught me. They knew they would’nt live forever, so why would they do this? Now I understand the impact of my upbringing on me. I do understand my feelings now and why I couldn’t don’t anything about it. I share this to also make others to feel and think about themselves in a healthier way. I am on my way of healing.

Just a thought I've had about the sleep deprivation. The narcissist I worked with once said that I must be tired because if how I was walking around the office. They asked if I had been up all night playing computer games. They had no reason to think that as I didn't talk about computer games at work because I had practically stopped playing them years before. It was a weird comment for her to make but now I wonder if it was because she wanted to think that I was sleep deprived.

I was shocked at the title because this is so true with me. The staring while sleeping & the devilish grin. No one would believe me, so I would keep my situation secret. My stomach churned when out in public & people would say “what a nice person!” I’m grateful for your message

I never experienced his piercing stares at night. Maybe because I was always the one who goes bed very late while he was an early bird. But I always experienced being woken up even if he knew that I struggle to fall asleep, he always ignored this. He was waking me up at 4:00-5:00am to ask me if I want a cup of coffee (literally 1-2h after I go to bed). Then he was sleeping back while all my sleep and my day got ruined cuz of migraine attacks from lack of sleep. I don't even mention him yelling at me while I was having migraine attacks or need to go to a bathroom while we are outside even if while I was pregnant. He was definitely enjoying to see me suffering, struggling, trying to ignore my own needs, even the basic ones. I'm happy that all are gone now. I'm free. Still struggling in some point but I'm not restless anymore. I'm improving slowly. Thanks for those amazing videos Danish. They are pretty helpful.

Several times I woke from sleep with my boyfriend intensely staring at me. The first time I smiled thinking he was being romantic until I noticed it wasn't a loving gaze. It was a pure evil glare. When I asked him what's wrong thinking maybe I elbowed or kicked him in my sleep he just smirked and laid down turned away from me. Other times when I was exhausted from work and would fall asleep while watching tv he would make a snort noise to jolt me awake or purposely wake me to say go to bed knowing once I wake from that state I can't fall back to sleep. Other times he would "accidently" knee me hard or slap me in the face pretending to be asleep. He never cuddled with me and always faced away from me so I know the slap and knee was intentional since it was the palm of his hand and left a mark. I had bruises from his "dreaming" excuse.

Yes, it happened to me!!! OMG, I woke up and heard him saying something to me in a very soft voice. Like he was trying to put subliminal suggestions in my ears while i was peacefully asleep?? Truely unsettling. Thanks for asking. Cant believe it took me, over 35-40 years to finally understand what that was all about.

Mine did always stare at me in every single minute whether we are alone or public which gave me sometimes a question mark that is he alright I mean loving someone doesn't mean you keep on staring at them every single min and that too when it seems to be weird Finally left after a year bcz he did wch was unacceptable that he cheated by getting back to ex n the other when not surrendered in front of him and his plans he started using my secrets against me.... I found my husband standing over my bed while I was sleeping. He lied and said that he was checking the outside temperature. Which he would have been unable to see, because it was too dark outside. He would shine a piercing flashlight into my eyes, while I was sleeping. He would either lie or give no excuse. I found a mysterious bruise on my neck or windpipe. I found different size bruises on my legs, after sleeping a night. These were not explained. He would be up during the night, because he would be on the late-night shift on the weekends. Just want to say coincidental,because I found my wife doing same thing some up at 5am there she was up on elbow staring at me asked if she was ok ,just got a grin I did feel chills,had enough after having 2dreams in last week one was been draged by my ankles,and yesterday had a dream I was been lifted up,both left me terrified,then my wife last nite.strange.I pray for my Lord Jesus to protect me.thank you Danish much love and respect.

That satanic stare always made my skin crawl. When I caught my past partnet staring at me in a public outdoor market, i would turn my head and then roll my eyes in disgust. Would occasionally get this narc stare from strangers (men) in a supermarket or from women in more closed societies like saudi arabia. The whole experience made me sick to my stomach. No more; I just ignore these people and certain environments and go on my way. The best revenge is to remain ignorant and indifferent. 😊

this one is 100% true ...... I was shocked the very day I witnessed this strange string .... without blinking an eye. honestly it is frightening .

He use to whisper in my ear, I love you. He use to record me snoring because he was jealous I could sleep so soundly as soon as my head hit the ppillow. He had insomnia and I had no idea he was so tormented and mentally ill.

Oh yes! This happened almost every day and night. I used to get chills in my spine. I used to keep my eyes closed and hold my urine, cough or sneeze. And the moment I had sneeze and got scared to see him staring at me he would laugh at me as if something funny happened. But I used to feel a hollow and deep pain in my chest and stomach and the pain was so intense that i can't even explain.

I caught my narcy pushing my face into my pillow while I was sleeping. He was smothering me! Sick stuff !!

My ex would pull the bed cover from when when i'm asleep and I would find him taking photos of my privates from different positions. As soon as he realises that i've caught him, he pretends that that is now what he was doing. I can't wait to get over this evil person.

I did not know this was happening until he told me how 'cute' I looked in my sleep. Then told me I slept with my mouth open. I was horrified and did not know what to make of it. I felt violated and creeped out.

Imagine sleeping deep and him trying to find the light in the hotel room, and suddenly you feel a hand in your face. Besides, the fact that he knows that you have sleeping issues since your childhood and you scream from here and then you have to apologise.

Just when I would fall asleep he would shake the bed and startle me awake…all night long for years - all the while he would pretend to be asleep and deny he was doing this. Madding!!

Your insight is so accurate. My ex-narcissist husband would do the exact same thing and it was creepy to wake up during the night and see him in the doorway simply staring at me. He also would use sleep deprivation tactics.

Around the age of 20, I woke up in the early hours of the morning(still quite dark outside) to find my mother in my bedroom, standing next to my bedside staring down at me. When I asked her why she was doing that, she said she had been praying for me. All through my life, even up till today, she insinuates that I am not going to Heaven unless I change my ways...

Sleep deprivation is a key tactic these monsters use on you when their other attempts at gaslighting and controlling you fail (I'm a sigma ISTP, so I'm immune). Notice if your narc isn't staring at you, they're always sick with issues and migraines that somehow need you to deal with it. Divorced my narc who always tried this crap with me.

I was not actually asleep but had my eyes closed on the sofa resting .. I saw her turn around in the circular swivel chair with a high backrest and stare at me over the edge of the back of the chair .. my eyes were closed but I was actually squinting .. she moved off the chair and moved around in front of the coffee table staring … weirdest thing I’ve ever seen .. I never bothered opening my eyes .. just watched her watching me .. I already knew she was a covert malignant narcissist and was already watching the food very carefully as she was an expert in biochemistry and worked in the medical profession .. I escaped alive after my therapist told me how to get her to go see him “to help him fix my problem” .. she went .. afterwards he told me get out asap .. the lights are on but no one is home

Mine did this all the time and he even told he loved watching people sleep, especially his mom. He would also record me sleeping then would send it to me😳

My mother used to do this.almost always gave me a heart attack and later made me scared to fall asleep

I've seen that stare from a close one. Haven't noticed it towards me but on a few others. I'm done with that person. Don't want him around me nor my loved ones.

This happened way too many times to me over the years from one person. It has always made me uncomfortable and has had me uneasy during and since still to this day. Thank you for bringing this up.
